Bags late to room
I took the magical express on 5/9, they said my bags would be in room within 3 hrs. So about 5 1/2 hrs later I called the front desk....they said they still had to bring the bags to the room. The CM then told me,they would give me $75 for the delay. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

No, this hasn't happened to me, but I would have a big
 on my face if they offered me $ 75.00 and be happy.Did you get the money or did they just offer?

Wow, no I have never had that happen...but then I have never used ME.
 I would have happily taken the $75! That seems like a pretty fair amount of compensation.

I must say that the last time we checked into POP.. not using ME.. we had a towncar bring us to resort, and a CM took our luggage to be delivered to our room. They said it would be up in 10-15 min. We waited for over an hour, DH called, they said they would be right up.. more time went by. FInally DH went down and got it himself and brought it up. He said when he got down there he expected them to be really busy.. wrong.. he said they were just kinda standing around waiting for something to do. NOW... I must say, this has not happened at any other resort we have stayed at on property... and may never happen again..

Never used ME but thats way too much time to have waitied, we prefer just to take our own bags up if we can, that way we can get settled right away and be off out somewhere without having to wait around.

We will be using the ME for the first time when I go in June--I'm checking in really early so I'm not even sure if our room will be ready. I'm bringing a carry-on with all of our bathing suits in it so we can use the pool while we wait.

Wow thats interesting. I know lots of people reported horror stories of their baggage arriving very late, but I don't remember anyone saying they were compensated for the delay. Sweet!!

The only and only time I used DME, the luggage service was almost as fast as the bus service. That isn't saying much becasue it took FOREVER for us to get to our resort on the unmagical unexpress. It was nice of them to compensate you.

Our bags were late but I only gave them only about 20 min. before I called. They apologized and our bags were rushed right out to us. It couldn't have been more than five minutes and they were in our room. I was satisfied and we were on our way.
I can't even begin to imagine the mess of bags they deal with daily. It's expected that somethings going to slide past them once in awhile.
