I've been waiting for southwest to put better prices on Pittsburgh to Orlando, but they are just not doing it (for Nov. 10-17) and today the earlier flight home was booked for the $99 price, so decided we'd better do it.

Booked 11/10 leave Pit 7:20 arrive 9:45 AM
11/17 leave Orlando 8:35 PM arrive Pit 10:55

I currently have a Wednesday breakfast at BOMA so maybe will change it to Saturday. Check out, store luggage then head to Animal Kingdom Lodge for Breakfast, then to AK until we have to go back to POP. Figure we'll have to be back at POP by 4:30 to get luggage out, then catch bus to airport, right?

any other suggestions on how to spend the last day? We've always had an early fight home, so pack, check out, leave.

Will be nice to arrive early on the first day. Will have most of the day.

Congrats on getting your airfare. I have the same problem, never knowing when is the best time to buy. Well, atleast you don't have to worry about it anymore and can start really planning your trip details!

With Magical Express, they usually have you ready to go back to the airport about 3 hours before your flight, so make sure your back by 5:30pm to get on the bus.

When we have a late flight out, we usually like to hit DTD for any last minute shopping and grab lunch there. You could also spend some time at the resort pool or at Disney Quest. You could even resort hop if you have time.

P.S. We are from Pittsburgh too, I like those Southwest flights, sometimes Airtran has some good deals too....for future reference.

For late day flight.. we usually eat a good TS breakfast then sometimes check out other resorts that we have not yet stayed at. OR.. go back to our favorite park (MK) for one last ride on Splash. OR.. hit DTD for some last minute shopping. As long as you have a good plan and back up plan on how to get back to your resort on time prior to pick up... your options are endless.

Congrats on getting the airfare out of the way. Isn't that a big relief? I hate having that linger over my head.

I kept checking between southwest and airtran. My son and daughter in law got a great price for October $59, I just kept waiting for that to come and it didn't.

I'm glad I booked when I did though because now the early (7:30 am) flight is gone. I really wanted that one. Getting to Orlando at 9:30 is like having a whole extra day.

The best SW ticket price we have ever gotten was $29.00 each way, non stop 3 years ago. This year we paid $79.00 each way.. not bad compared to other airfare though.
