Resort to Resort transportation?

Hi! I am wondering if Disney transportation goes from resort to resort? I know it goes from resorts to theme parks and DTD. I am interested in going from SSR to POR or POFQ, etc. Thanks!!

No, you can't get from resort to resort unless the two resorts share a bus. The best way we get to different resorts is to go to a park closest to the reosrt we are trying to go to. To get to POFQ from SSR DtD would be the easiest since you are really close to it at SSR.

Re: Resort to Resort transportation?

I would take the ferry to DtD and change to the ferry to POR, for a pleasant trip.

That would be really easy since they use the same dock.

Re: Resort to Resort transportation?

Well, if the resorts are on the same bus route, you can. Like all of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, Beach, and Yacht Club) share a bus. I'm not sure about SSR/POR/POFQ, though.

But, you can always just take a bus to the park, and then take a bus to the hotel you're wanting to go to. They don't check roomkeys or anything on the buses.

BC, BW, Swan, Dolphin, YC don't always share buses. We were just there for 2 weeks and we didn't share a bus with all 5 resorts, YC & BC basically had their own bus.

Re: Resort to Resort transportation?

Oh, well, when I was there around Christmas, they were all sharing a bus. At least to and from Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom. Can't remember about Animal Kingdom, though.

They were also all sharing boats.

We did share a boat with all the Epcot resorts but the buses route was broken in two with BW, Swan, and Dolphin sharing one bus and YC & BC sharing another bus. I think we may have shared a bus with all the resorts coming back from DtD one night but that would have been the only time.

Re: Resort to Resort transportation?

I think alot has to do with loading... Thats with the Boardwalk resorts, but POR has their own bus since there are so many stops. SSR you would be best to take the water taxi and switch at the docks. IF you have plenty of places to visit, just drive to them if at all possible. We did when we were checking out the decorations this past Christmas...
