how does the Ding work?

I just loaded it onto the computer and was wondering how does it work? Do I need to have my computer off then re start it for a ding? How often will I get a ding?

I usually get one or two a day, usually one in the morning, then a second in the early afternoon. They just show up, no need to restart or anything.

Did you set it up for your departure city?

Hi Mickey,

I did set it for 2 depart cities and also included MCO. Do I need to include where I want to go ?

No, it will just pop up a Ding when there are available departures from the cities you included. They will just include any destinations that are available from your departure cities.

The only problem I have found with ding fares is trying to change just one leg of your trip while leaving the other intact. I have found it easier to book two separate flights instead of one roundtrip.

Also, I found that if you check out too many choices as you are trying to work out what works best for you, they kick you out, and then can't get back in. You get some kind of message about exceeding your views, or something like that.

My ding isnt working. i get a message to low fares then I click on it and it wont take me to SWA!!!! Anyone knows whats up with that?

Do you know if you have pop ups blocked or if your firewall is stopping you? I know when I first signed up, I couldn't get it to work either. Then I went right to help page and figured out what I had to do.

It pops up but when I click onit it wont let me connect to SWA

Hmmm, I am not sure. But, it also could be that your computer is not letting it connect. Try clicking on the help link and see if you can figure it out.
