Rental Car Tricks
Just wanted to let all of you know that you should take your time and try multiple options when booking a rental car. I just made a reservation with Alamo and I tweaked the discounts, coupons, pick up time, etc for about 1 hour. For the same basic rental, I got prices ranging from $208 to $129.
 Definitely check out MouseSavers.com - Disney Discount Source - Disney World Discounts, Disneyland Discounts, Disney Cruise Discounts for some great savings ideas.

Wow! That's a great difference.
My husband just informed me that because of his corporate account with Hertz and the frequency of his usage, he has accumulated nine complimentary days. Yay!!! So, I can now cancel our reservation with Dollar.

Also, if you're a Costco member, go on their website and they have discount offers too for rental cars!

We always shop around. Prices vary everyday of the week or sometimes every hour. I am always looking for the best deal right up until we leave. Mousesavers always has great discounts and the Entertainment book always has some pretty good coupons.

Yep, great tip. My DH had to rent a car for a couple of days in Miami. He did exactly as you suggested and got a pretty descent rate. It pays to shop around.

Also try hotwire.com. They will email you every time the rental drops for orlando. I got a rate of $131.53 for 8 days emailed to me the other day, but wasn't prepared to pay in full at that time. I will get another one..they email me once a week.
