Re: Simply wheelz?

Thanks for the post!! I'm going to look into renting from them instead of Alamo. I find Alamo cheaper than Hertz...but never seen a price like you got from this place...

Very good. Glad you found what you needed...didn't mean to make light of your situation...just found it funny that they had a company like that. I remember taking a charter flight to the Bahamas on 'Casino Air' and joked that we had to play slots to keep up in the air! Happy Travels

Re: Simply wheelz?

I just used them a few weeks ago!!!

It was fine - no problems what-so-ever. I booked because I was trying to stay really cheap, and it was the best rate going. The only thing I had a problem with was pick-up. The Hertz terminal does not have good signage as far as Simply Weelz goes. Plenty of signs outside and around, but nothing directing you to the terminals where you scan in your info. And there was no one around to ask without waiting in line - so I waited almost 10 minutes in line for a rep to tell me the terminals were around the corner.

So, when you get to Hertz, don;t stand in line - go around the corner and there are 3 virtually empty computer terminals to check in for Simply Weelz. There is someone standing there to assist if you have trouble (I had a hard time figuring out how to scan my license), but it is pretty much like using the kiosk at an airport to check in. It will print a bunch of slips , which tell where you car is (what space) and the keys are in the car already.

Drop off was so easy. I pulled up, and a woman gave me slip with the total $ (exactly what I thought it would be) and I just walked away.

It was really great! I would recomment it (or do it again myself) in a hear-beat. I wish they would bring it to other airports.

Re: Simply wheelz?

Please let us know what your experience is like.

I am a big fan of ME. I like the hassle-free experience.

Simply Wheelz, however, may be the way to go when we aren't staying on WDW property, ie. when The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens at Universal Orlando Resort.

I will most definately report on the service. I am not an ME fan and usually get a towncar to and from the airport. I also take cabs here and there through out the trip cause I am just not a patient person when it comes to waiting for buses.. I am also staying at OKW and could get stuck in a really far away building...the rental made sense this time around for us. I am actually saving money by getting it....Towncar was $120+ for rate and tip, taxis were about $20 a day average...more if it was really hot and I was really impatient...

Re: Simply wheelz?

I hope more MBers try it and like it. I'm thinking that if they have success with it in Orlando they may roll it out nation-wide.
