Krispy Kreme at Orlando Airport Question... - Page 2

We had a KK for a short time here in RI. Never went there myself, but I have heard the only way to experience those donuts is hot from the oven. I would be surprised if the airport supplied them that way.

we were not really that fond of them when they were here in CT- there are still some here and there but if that fresh baked sign is off its not worth the bother

Thanks for the airport info- DD and DH are KK addicts! (although here in England they are $2.00 for ONE single glazed donut!!)
There is also a KK outlet at Millenia Mall just a short drive from WDW.

Yep! You are totally right. 8 seconds (like the box says) is a second to long.

And I don't see any point in going for anything other than the glazed.

Of course, nothing compares to the now non-existent "Spudnuts." Oh, those were glorious!

We still have a Spudnuts here by my house. In fact, there are 3 remaining locations left in Ohio and they are all in the greater Cleveland area. Lucky me!

Are you from Illinois? There seems to be some controversy. Anywho, if you are, there is one last remaining Spudnuts in Illinois, near Peoria, in Pekin, Ill.

Yep! I grew up getting my Spudnuts from that very store on Derby Street in Pekin. But I now live 2+ hours away, AND they are only open on Saturday mornings anymore.

Actually, I'm from Illinois--just to clarify.
