I am overly irked about the whole "paid for seat assignments and it all went poof" situation, so I can imagine how you felt. Can't believe something so obvious took a supervisor to fix.

Wouldn't you think that airlines would be bending over backward to keep customers these days, instead of doing everything they can to drive them away? Craziness.

More Disney for you and your DD but I wouldnt like the idea of not having a set time and sticking with it! Im scared of change. I guess thats why I call my offsite hotel every 3 hours to check and cfm the ressie again

I've not flown Spirit--never will based on the stories I've heard. I bet they go belly-up in the next few years with service like this.

Ahhh Dana, I am sorry about the whole seat assignment mix-up. Hopefully it was fixed & won't happen again.

That's cool your time got adjusted to your benefit, a couple weeks ago I got an e-mail from Continental saying our trip times were changed and precious Disney time for taken AWAY from me. It wasn't a lot, but still. We were suppose to arrive in Orlando at 9:30am and now we are arriving at 10:45am. We were suppose to depart at 2:20 pm and now we are departing at 1:50 pm. I hope they don't change it again!

Dana, I had the same thing happen to me...although, my seat assignment loss didn't go as smoothly as yours. My seat assignment dissapeared, my DH still had his in tact. After both my husband and I talked at length to the call center with much frustration and anger trying to get the seat re-assigned (which was prepaid for), we ended up paying an additional $5 to assign me a seat and called it a day. If I didn't already have flights booked with Spirit for our December trip to WDW I would never fly them again!

I just recieved a e-mail our flights have changed AGAIN with spirit! Leaving home a hour later. What can you do!!

Wow- I would have gone nuts on the chick that said to just show up!!! That is when I start opening my cans of whoop@@@ if you know what I mean. Then agian it is a change to your benefit so that works in the end. I would make sure that you check and check again before you leave though- you would not want to be "bumped" when you get to the airport and be tired from a long fun day only to wait in an airport overnight for the next days flights- that is a late departure!

The original flight time was 3pm. Big difference in time to fly home 5 hours later. I land in AC at 10:30pm assuming we land on time...won't get home till midnight. Thankfully, I can just make sure I work night shift that monday so I don't have to be at ork by 7am...

I may just take off completely...see what my boss says. I am not banking on a late check out at OKW, but will definately ask anyway. It can't hurt.

Best thing is..I now have another WDW to plan...WOOHOO!!! What park will it be? the choices are so fun!

I checked the seat assignments again this morning and they were as they should be. I will most definately check every few days. No worries bout me my dear...they got their can of it..lol As soon as I mentioned "minor child" and my concerns with us being seperated on the flight and REFUND for the money paid for the seats already, they fixed it..lol My issue is with their lack of concern with my money. I already paid them..why would they expect me to just show up and take whatever was left? All of this frustration was compounded by the horrible accent this man had. I had to make him repeat everything he said...it was just that hard to understand what he was trying to say. Why would you make someone who speaks terrible English a customer service represenative who deals with people who speak mostly English? If they are going to change your flights, they need to do is passenger by passenger and change the seat assignments with it.

I don't understand this seat payment thing to begin with, but to have to pay again is ridiculous. I wouldn't care if it was $5 or 5cents...it's my money. I am so sorry you had that experience with them. I fly them solely because they fly out of Atlantic city and the airport is less stressful to me that Philly. I ma not a good flyer and it helps me to not be as stressed before I get on the plane.

Me either. At this point I'm going to stick with Southwest. They have never changed a flight and we've only been late once and that was due to a security issue at another airport.

Flew with Spirit twice and will never due it again.1st time we flew from Atlantic City to St. Thomas in 2005.Spirit changed our flight 3 times before vacation, seating baggage everything was messed up. Assumed(because we were told)everything was fine till we checked in 2-3 hrs before our flight to found out our seats were doubled booked. Flight out was late & land 20 mins later than what they said at take off. Flight attended was unfriendly, later my kids said she was a witch, and DH agreed. 2nd time it was just Dh and I, we figured how bad could it be. Well it wasn’t good. We flew to Jamaica from Atlantic City. When we got to Jamaica we only had half our things and we paid extra for are baggage! It was not the airport that was bad it was Spirit.

Obviously they didn't recognize the name...you would think that they would highlight my name to warn customer service.
