Not only do I suggest checking, double checking and triple checking flight reservations, but I HIGHLY suggest people check their ADRs at least twice before heading down to WDW. They should check them 30days out when there is still time to fix mistakes and again at least a week before you travel. Yes, I msot definately have the most OCd checklist known to man.

It only serves to set the bar high for those of us aspiring to achieve the pinnacle OCD-dom. We all have to have goals!!

Glad everything worked for you Dana, despite the frustration.

The change of flight worked to your advantage though! I always try to book the last flight coming home at nite or something in the evening. That' means more time at WDW w/o paying for the hotel!
During Girl Trip, we made it a day to hang out at DtD and shop!!!! We also brought a change of clothes and changed in the airport before getting on the plane. We had our luggage in our car so that wasn't a biggie and I think baggage services at OKW will take care of your bags for you until flight time and I think you can hang out all day and just get back to the hotel for the car service to the airport so that's extra time to play!!!

This whole thing with the airlines is ridiculous, Iam still looking for air for Nov. I see some low fares but not what I want so Iam holding out.
I just hope there aren't any more changes to our disadvantage or any more fees piled on!!!

I am actually renting a car this time for real. It's my first time, so the later departure is ok there. I have no clue what we will do that day, but am certain we can find something to do. I will have to pack a change of clothes for the plane...I hate not having a room up until I leave though. oh well there are worse things that could happen and this really isn't a bad thing at all now that the seating thing is all fixed.

Iam so proud your doing the car this time!!!! You'll be so glad you did!!
It really is convenient to go places and not have to wait on a bus, etc...
And I understand about not having the room until you leave but you will have all your bags in the car if you ever should need anything and it gets you out of the room and off to play much easier! Sleep in that morning, and take your time, go get breakfast, do you last run on RnRC, go to DtD, shop, get a bite to eat and then go to the airport! Just remember to gas up on the way back with the rental. I always seem to go to this same one on the road to the airport but I can't remember where it is! Just gas up anywhere so the tank is full and you dont get charged.

Also driving to/from WDW is sooo easy!!! There are signs along the way but I always print directions from home and bring them and bring maps!

I forgot but they give you a map when you pick up your car!

No I am borrowing the GPS from my friend. I could get one with the car for an extra $9.95 a day, but why pay for more when she said I could take her's?

Believe it or not, that's the easiest part! lol
I have often gotten lost driving around within the World! There are areas where you know where you are going but all of a sudden dont see a sign for your turn and you get lost! That has happened me to last year on GT and when we stayed at the POP!

Just print out directions online too, to your hotel, to compare. You know how some give you wrong directions, whether it be the GPS or online map quest tool.
And like I said, just follow the signs. Once you leave the car rental place and get on the highway heading towards WDW, it's all butters!
