Swan = no magical express

Since we are looking at staying at the Swan and they have no ME service, what transportation service would you recommend at what should we estimate the cost of transportation? There will be 8 people in the travel party! Thanks!

I would recommend the only service we have ever used : Quicksilver. You'll find their link on MB's homepage

Quicksilver is great! We just returned the other day, and used their service, and they have the 4 P's (Prompt, Professional, Polite and Personable).

Re: Swan = no magical express

If you do quicksilver, that's alot of times you'll need them adding up to alot of money. I'd check with the hotel itself and just ask them if they have free transportation. If not, rent a vehicle that holds 8. My brother is going in Dec & rented a surburban. I'm not sure what he paid but he said it was reasonable. He's got 8 in his party.

Re: Swan = no magical express

Suggest Quicksilver van. The limo will seat lot, but same luggage room as towncar.

For that many people it's probably cheaper and it's REALLY nice to have them waiting for you when you arrive.

Re: Swan = no magical express

Like everyone else said I'd go with a car service...but the cheaper (on so many levels) way to go is Mears. When my sister and I stayed at the Dolphin we took them. Going to the hotel it was a bus like ME, so not a problem. Coming back to the hotel it was a van...oh did I get car, er van, sick. But it was the most economical way to go at the time, so that's what we used.

I think with 8 people at $32 pp, Mears will be expensive!

Re: Swan = no magical express

For the money, I think a van from Quicksilver would be the way to go. We have also had a good experience with them. Their website shows abuot $130 round trip. You also get the grocery stop enroute to the resort.

WOOOO HOOOOO !!!! This thread just helped me out big time ! Im planning the biggest, most elaborate Disney trip ever for Next December. You gave me the idea of Googling limo services in Orlando. Theres a place with a Phantom. If thats not elaborate, I dont know what is.
