My mom went with my DD4 and me last year. We had our moments and issues. This year, I told her she was welcome to come but that I didn't think she would want to. She agreed - she hates crowds and we were there at a time when the park wasn't too crowded (max wait time was 10 minutes). It was a blessing that I didn't have to have "the conversation" with her. It sounds as though you might have avoided it as well. Good luck!

I feel for you. We're going the first week of December and booked airfare with Spirit and we paid $154 per person round trip. Of course that's less taxes and 2 checked bags. We chose not to assign our own seats because of the extra charge. I belong to their $9 club and am signed up for their email alerts for specials. I would keep checking, they really do have some great sales. I'm trying to pull together an entire family reunion in WDW in 2010. I hope I don't wind up going postal!! Good Luck.
