Re: Driving from NE PA to WDW in May

We normally fly but drove down from MA, hit traffic in NYC and with small breaks took us 22 hours. We were absolutely exhausted and never caught up with sleep during our stay. Once we arrived, we knew it was a bad idea to drive and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Thankfully, we'll be able to enjoy our trip much better in 2 and a half weeks!

Re: Driving from NE PA to WDW in May

We've done plane, train, and automobile also. We drove down years ago (from South Jersey) with three small children (thank God they were good) and it took us about 17 hours, so it probably isn't that long now. The train is kind of fun - most of the travel is at night when you're sleeping, but you have to drive to Lortan, VA to get the Auto Train. Flying is the most convenient and time saving way, but I have to say I really don't enjoy the flights and the Xanax isn't helping as much anymore. It is nice to get there in under two hours and head to Spoodles for breakfast.
