Rental Car Question...???

I have a minivan rented from ALAMO for my August trip...it's the best deal at $189 for the week! But now, I see that Dollar also has an awesome deal ($199 for the week) for the same time when I go in August! I would just keep Alamo, since it is cheaper (only $10, but $10 is $10, right?!?) But I was just reading the rental car section on MOUSESAVERS.COM, and it said that Alamo counters at the terminal in MCO ALWAYS have long lines, while other car companies have no lines at all! :dazed :nooo:

So, I am wondering if I should stick to Alamo or go with Dollar??? Any suggestions?!?

It was so much easier when Alamo was off-terminal to give an answer to this type question. Just keep in mind that Alamo is the car rental in many vacation packages and maybe this is the reason for longer lines.

I have used Dollar as my primary rental car company for my travels to WDW. They are fast and efficient. And if you join their FastLane club, you get to wait in a priority line. I don't know if Alamo has anything such as this.

Quicksilver, Alamo's expedited counter service, appears to be for corporate customers. I know at one time you could enroll in Quicksilver through National Car Rental for free through the Disney Club.

Dollar's FastLane Express Services Program is free of charge to anyone.

This is great, thanks Jmouse! I definitely have to decide what I am going to do...switch my reservation to Dollar or keep it with Alamo!!! If Alamo's lines are ALWAYS long, I think I might just switch it to Dollar!

Does anyone have any experience renting from the Alamo counter at MCO??
