Re: Airline of choice?
Airtran! They are the only airline that flies nonstop from our tiny airport. And I would never consider flying from another airport: free parking, no lines, one terminal. Perfect! Airtran always has great service and awesome prices. Our flight in December cost us $140 per person. Not bad!

Re: Airline of choice?
The cheapest non-stop I can find. We live close to Cincinnati, but we've flown from Indy and Louisville if the price difference is worthwhile. I like to book well in advance, if possible, so Southwest is often left out of the mix due to how they release their schedule. We've flown Delta, Northwest, and Airtran; I haven't noticed much difference between them.

Re: Airline of choice?
Add me to the chorus of JetBlue lovers! I have NEVER had a problem with them. My flights have always been on time, first bag is free, snacks are delicious (I love the blue chips!) and you can't beat the tvs at each seat. I am a nervous flyer and love having the TV to keep me occupied.
I've only flown Southwest once out of Manchester and I was not a fan, all that lining up felt like a cattle call. AirTran and Delta are good options for me out of out Boston too, though I don't like that AirTran charges you to select your seats ahead of time.

JetBlue! We love them. A close runner up is Airtran. I've found incredible deals on both. The cheapest I've flown to Orlando was for $49.99 each way.

Re: Airline of choice?
Jetblue by far (southwest does not really fly out of the NY area).
Their policy of giving you a credit as the flight price goes down is great. Out fares for our upcoming trip have gone from $239 to $151 RT! ![]()

Re: Airline of choice?
Yes I agree, I forgot about the decreasing price match. I have probably saved over $50 per roundtrip ticket on my last 5 flights over the last 2 years. Customer Service is also good at allowing you to transfer credits to other family members.

Re: Airline of choice?
For comfort and reliability, Midwest Express. But they changed their direct flights so they are now few and far between. And they got really expensive.
![]() For price and direct flight, AirTran. But Southwest is starting up flights from Milwaukee so I'm anxious to try them next time.

Re: Airline of choice?
Iam a big fan of Jet Blue too!!!
![]() Love the personal tvs, the roomy seats and all!!! Only thing I hate right now is that they aren't much cheaper and you have to pay for baggage over 1 piece!!! Plus Iam travelling out of 1 Ny airport and back to another because of price! I could not get anything out of NJ and prices are higher than what Iam used to paying!! For Price, Southwest is very good!!!! No extra fees of any kind, they got awesome rates. bad points = I have to travel far (philly or Nyc)

Also it makes no difference which airport you fly into. There is no change charge but you don't get cash back you get Jetblue credit that must be used within 1 year.

Re: Airline of choice?
I hear you as a Jersey Guy myself. We try all the airports. Did you try White Plains? Great little airport and no farther than any NYC airport.
The good thing about the credit is you have to book another flight within a year to use it (not necessarily fly within a year) so that gives you about 16 months to use it. ![]()
