One condition of me going to WDW is that one day we must go to Daytona USA & Race Rock. We are not going to have a rental car because the cost is outrageous. We are planning to have Tiffany towncar from the airport.

I was wondering if anyone knows the cost for a one-day car rental & the easiest way to do that.

I still have time to plan, so any help would be appreciated.

Do your homework as we do rental cars are cheep in Florida,we always rent .Fullsize National car at the airport we always get under $200.00 a week.Go to mousesavers.com to start then go from there.Buy the time you add up a limo price and a 1 day rental you could have gotten a car for a week.Renting a car is the best way around WDW.good luck:)

while I'm not sure when you are going to daytona, the options do exist for the daytona 500 and the pepsi 400 to take a shuttle bus from orlando. however if this isn't the days you plan to go then a rental car would be availble on disney property and very close off property.

THE SWAN OR DOLPHIN HOTEL RUN BY ALAMO/NATIONAL
(CHECK HOURS OF OPERATION BEFORE RESERVING)

OFFSITE:

1)DTD MARRIOT HOTEL OPERATED BY DOLLAR (HIGHLY RECOMENDED BY ME, ITS THE ONLY LOCATION I RENT A CAR FROM)

2) HERTZ CAR CENTER ON 192 JUST WEST OF DISNEY

3) THERE ARE ALSO SOME AT THE KISSIMMEE AIRPORT BUT NOT WORTH THE TRIP AS MOST OF THEM ARE ALSO LOCATED CLOSER

I also needed a car for only 1 or 2 days. We decided to rent from the WDW car center. The car rental company picked me up from the disney hotel on a free shuttle. You rent from Budget or some other company. The one day fee was about $49. When you return the car, you just drive to the WDW car center and the shuttle takes you back to your hotel. I had to wait about a 1/2 for the return trip back to the hotel. Other than that, it was great.

Here is my reply I posted (I just reserved an economy car for 164.00 for 9 days with all the fees (airport,taxes and some other fee) I thought that was a great deal I reserved on line it was cheaper on line than if I called them they wanted 235.00. I printed out my confirmation with the total.) You might want to try them. Not sure what the website is look under google and type in L and M car rental.
