Transportation to Universal & SeaWorld

During our trip to WDW, we plan on visiting Universal Studios (2 days) and SeaWorld (1 Day). Our plan calls for us (family of four) to visit these sites on consecutive days but unfortunately the days are right in the middle of our 9 day trip to Orlando. We're pondering renting a car for these days but we're unsure whether we can rent a car onsite at WDW or not. Does anyone have any experience on renting cars at WDW vs. taxi or shuttle service to these locations?
Also, we're staying at the Polynesian and plan on using a local limo/shuttle service to get from the airport to the Poly. Any recommendations on limo/shuttle service from the airport to WDW?

Thanks lots!

All you need to do is go to Guest Relations at your Resort, and Disney will get you anything you need. I know even a Limo service will pick you up , and bring you back. It's all about what you want to spend on transportation. Good luck!!!:) JOANN

Your at the easiest hotel on site to get to Seaworld, simply walk over to the TTC and go over the to the busses, there is a LYNX bus stop there, this is a city bus company, I can't remember what the sign looks like it will be the stop along side the sidewalk down by the monorail station (if unsure ask any disney bus driver they will point you in the right direction) board the LINK 50 it will go to seaworld just let the driver know when boarding where you would like to go and they will help you out. also LYNX busses require exact fares, you need $1.25 per person, it needs to be $1.25 not $5.00 for 4 people the fare boxxes can only except $1 and change. the driver can not do anything about this. normal transit time is 21 mins. consult www.golynx.com for scheadule info.

as for universal there is a way by bus but it will take a while. others may have better suggestions.
