I am looking for something special for my DW to do with my 10 and 8 year old sons on a slow day at WDW. Any ideas? I always get to do the neat stuff like DisneyQuest because the boys and i are basically kids.
Any ideas?? ![]()

Re: Ideas for Mother / Son Bonding
Our son, loved to visit the countries with me...a nice pace and he worked on his mask at each one. It was just the 2 of us....we checked out the shops, artwork, building structure and differences...and stopped on benches to just relax and talk along the way while sipping on a refreshment every now and then.
We also bonded when we went swimming one evening when I was doing laundry. There were only a few people in the water...so it was like we had our very own pool. Maybe she would like to take them to Downtown Disney....share an icecream together and check out the lego action..... I hope it helps. OH, I know...she can take them miniature golfing!

Re: Ideas for Mother / Son Bonding
How about an afternoon horseback riding at Fort Wilderness or renting a water mouse??
I love the idea of the country hopping in EPCoT and I would also include the ice cream social with that for an afternoon break. My son (8 1/2) and I tend to "bond" the most at WDW when we are doing the E-ticket rides. The anticipation of the ride...then actually riding it (and screaming my head off while he is laughing is rear off at me!) Then giggling and sharing our favorite part of the ride afterward.
