Water Park rehab

Hello, forgive me but this is my first thread start. We will be going to WDW at Thanksgiving and we are starting to put together a schedule. Does anyone know what the water park rehab will be? Thanks for your help.

Re: Water Park rehab

Welcome to DC. One of the water parks are always open. I am trying to remember which one they rehab first, but my mind is blank on this one. Rest assured, one of them will be open.

Re: Water Park rehab

Last year they rehabbed BB, so my guess would be that this year's park rehab will be TL. This is only a guess, and they will have the schedule posted sometime later this summer. You can check on AllEarsnet.com or on MousePlanet.com and the Disney Site. they have the most up to date listings of the closings and rahabs. Hopw this helps.

Re: Water Park rehab

Lets see, I think you're right Lawwin, 2002 TL was under refurb. 2003 I know BB was under refurb, so I'd go with TL being refurb. I guess I could look couldn't I??
Oh well nothing just yet, but around Nov refurbishment does start, I know that one for a fact!

Re: Water Park rehab

First of all, Welcome to Disney Central!! I really don't think you will have anything to worry about, because they usually don't start refurbishment of the water parks until January. We always go then, and one always seems to be closed. Just continue to check back with Disney or one of the many Disney site.

Thanks for your help.
do any of you know about special resort Thanksgiving diners. We fly in that day and a nice meal out before going to the parks would be great.
Thanks again for your help.

I know its not exactly what you were thinking, but Liberty Tree Tavern in MK has a turkey dinner character meal. They bring turkey and all the fixings and your table is visited by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale, and who knows who else while you eat.

Re: Water Park rehab

When I was there for Thanksgiving in 2001 we ate at the 50's Primetime Cafe in MGM. It was great fun and had a Turkey Dinner Special. Of course to be different I had the meatloaf. LOL!
