Home Shop At Downtown
Hi everyone,
Just a quick question, is the Home and Garden store still open at Downtown? Heard a rumour that it was closed and I that shop. Please tell me this isn't so. I plan on doing a great deal of shoppin' here when i next visit . Also, if it is still there, has anyone who has visited recently noticed if they sell Princess knobs/handles for furniture( sorry don't know what you guys over there call them?!!!- perhaps i should have gone back to English vs American debate ). Last time I was there, I noticed they sold Pooh and friends ones but as I am a new mum to a little princess of my own I would love to get some Princess ones. Sorry if I have droaned on.....maybe 'one quick question' was not what I should have put! ![]() |

I hope not, too. I liked to stroll through there and dream about what my landscaping could look like.

We saw it open in June, too. We didn't go in, so I don't know if they have the knobs you're looking for.

Re: Home Shop At Downtown
I just wish that they had bedding like sheets, pillowcases, comforters, etc. I want a whole new Disney bed but I want a Mickey theme, not Pooh or the Princesses, and that's all you can get in Wal-Mart.

It's so nice to stroll through there and dream. I could never afford the things in there, but I can put together a nice house in my imagination!

We were just there in May and I'm pretty sure that they had bed linens and comforters as well as towels and stuff for the bathroom.

It was opened in June. Did not look like it was planning on closing.

Mickaholic, they may not have the Mickey sheets, etc. at the home shop but you can order them through the Disney store. In fact, many of them are on sale now as well as Mickey furniture. I know, because I was planning to order until my husband said he refused to sleep on Mickey sheets. He said it's enough to have a Mickey bathroom and a Disney computer room.

Re: Home Shop At Downtown
I personally love the pieces of MIckey stuff that they now have on sale through the D-catalog. I want to decorate my house that way when I can finally afford to buy one and I don't have a husband to refuse to sleep on Mickey sheets. But, my daughter would probably spend a lot more time sleeping with Mom, as she loves the mouse as much as I do. They also sell the sheets and stuff online at the Disney store and they have a great clearance area.
