Universal Studios!!! To be exact the Hard Rock Hotel?? I was thinking we could go to DTD our last night at Universal and get a jump on Disney stuff!!! Is it very far or hard to find????

Actually, there is NOTHING Disney oriented that's hard to find in the Orlando area. Just follow the signs! But I was just wondering, what is Universal and where is it? I guess THAT'S something hard to find!

I know I know!!! But you notice I have universal questions now I have been asking Disney Questions for MONTHS!!!

dpending on traffic its about 20 mins drive and very easy. simply follow the signs to I-4 west, once on I-4 you will want to get off at the 535 exit, there will be signs that will say DTD and it will be the exit directly after you see dolly partons dinner show on the left. make a right turn when you get off then get over to the left lane asap and turn left at the next traffic light, follow this road through a few traffic lights (sorry I lost count of how many there are on this road) eventually you will see the marketplace on your right and the parking is just beyond there on your right.

Universal is not too far mile-wise or drive time-wise. But it's light years behind Pixie Dust-wise and Magic-wise. (Just kidding - maybe.)

Not a long drive at all...about 20 minutes. While I post, I will route the two points in one of my many pieces of routing (no laughing in Australia) software.

It is 25 kms, and takes about 25 minutes at road-attributed driving speeds. That's what, about 15.6 miles from Universal Studios to the Polynesian Resort.

Universal to DTD is 15.6 kms (9.75 miles), and takes about 17 minutes.

to get from USF to the poly, take I-4 west out of universal take it to the epcot center exit (state road 536) beaware this is a double exit 417 and 536 just stay to the right and you will be fine. after going through the disney archway get into the left lane (its 3 lanes but the right 2 become exit only into epcot) after you go by the epcot exit (you will be on a one lane road) get into the right lane when it opens up then take the first right exit and this will be world drive stay as far to the right as you can at the toll both (not sure on the policy for paying toll when checking in) stay all the way to the right as you come out of the toll booth (all the left lanes go into the TTC parking lot) follow this road to the first stoplight and make a left turn. the poly will be up on the right shortly. also watch out for pedestrains on this last road.
