Making Reservations

We haven't made reservations yet for any shows. Do they get booked out quick? or if you leave it too late do you get a bad seat? How does it work?

Thank You

Re: Making Reservations

If you want to go to Hoop De Doo or Luau, you can book now. I know at the HDD, your seat is assigned when you book, so the earlier you book, the better seat you get. As soon as you have your dates picked, go for it!!!

Re: Making Reservations

But remember that you don't have to reserve seats for the shows in the parks -- attractions like Legend of the Lion King, Fantasmic, and Beauty and the Beast are just first come, first served as far as seating goes.

Can you give us an idea of what shows you are talking about?

Re: Making Reservations

Here is a quick run-down of how reservations work with WDW:

The first thing you book is a small list of night-time shows. This list includes: Hoop De Doo Review, Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba, The Luau at the Polynesian Resort, and Mickey's Back Yard BBQ. These are the only night-time shows, that are seperate from the parks. There is also, the Fantasmic Package, which includes dinner at a choice of pre-selected returaunts in MGM, and includes garunteed seating inside the Fantasmic show.

Next comes PS's, or Priority Seating's. This is for ANY returaunt inside of WDW. From the parks to resorts, you can reserve a time.

There are a few resturaunts that book up very quickly, so if you have any ideas of where you want to eat, maybe you can post them and we can help you out.

It would be more the nigh-time shows that DisneyGuy talks about. We haven't made reservations yet, as to be honest we haven't decided what to see. I was planning to just choose when we got there, but all this talk of reservations and priority seating has got me a little worried that we won't be able to get to see anything.

Re: Making Reservations

The one I wouldn't miss is La Nouba (Cirque de Soleil) Book that asap. I know you said you were looking for adult entertainment, so why not head for Pleasure Island to do the clubs there. There's a comedy club, dance clubs and a place called The Adventurer's Club that has to be experienced to be believed. There are also adult-oriented clubs on the Boardwalk (Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall.) None of these need reservations, but are geared to adults. Hoop-de-doo & the BBQ are definitely family entertainment. Fun, but more family oriented. A Fantasmic package is a good idea. The Brown Derby is one of the restaurants offered in the package and it is very definitely for adults.

Re: Making Reservations

La Nuoba is a must!!! I believe that it can now be booked online. I would recomend the Far right or left. These are category 3, and if you call for reservations, they can tell you if you could get front row for your section, that is what you want. Top that off with a late dinner at Planet Hollywood. Then if you still want more go to Pleasure Island.

PS's aren't too necessary for this time of year, but I would get them. Otherwise you will be showing up at the resturaunt. The following is my PS list:
Ohanas (Poly)
1900 Park Fare - breakfast (Epcot)
Chef Mickey’s (CR)
H&V (MGM)
Rose and Crown (Epcot)
Boma (AKL)
Artist Point (WL)
Sci Fi (MGM)

Those are all wonderful. You may want to look into any of those.
