Adventurers Club

Has anyone an opinion on the Adventurers Club at DTD?

I have read about it on allearsnet.com but would love to hear what you have to say about it.

Re: Adventurers Club

We love it!! It's the first place we hit when we get to PI. It is so funny and always changing since they play off the guests there. Try it!

Re: Adventurers Club

We absolutely love Adventurer's Club!! You have to go with a sense of fun and be ready for anything. I would highly recommend it. It's the only club at Pleasure Island which we MUST do.

Re: Adventurers Club

It is one of the clubs at Pleasure Island. They do skit type things and it is alot of fun. Different shows take place in different rooms in the club. It is very hard to explain but is really a great time. We took my two DS's in April and they got a huge kick out of it! Always a "must do" when in WDW.

Re: Adventurers Club

Adventurers Club is our favorite place in PI. They take groups back for a comedy skit but it is not necessary to go see the skit to enjoy the club. There is so much to look at while you wait for the next skit, or if you just go in to look around. There are different rooms to wander through and just enjoy all the decorations and objects from around the world. For example, one room has masks on the walls and if you watch carefully, some of them having moving eyes. If I remember right, the story is that these are the collections of an eccentric millionarie that traveled the world. The staff also interacts with the guests in an impromptu fashion that can be hilarious. I have heard that if you tip the bartender, he can make the bar stools sink slowly into the floor. There is never a dull moment in the Adventurers Club.

Re: Adventurers Club

Crystalrp, how old are your kids? Would it be alright to take two 10 year olds?

No, absolutely not. My DH doesn't drink and this is his favourite place at PI. I would highly recommend going along with the entire skit, though. You'll meet in the main lounge, move on to the "Trophy Room" and end up in the "Library". The story changes from time to time, but they're all so ridiculous and funny! The actors are excellent. Our children were 9 and 10 when we first took them and they loved it.

I am so jealous of your countdown!

I think the Adventurer's Club gets overlooked, because a lot of people wander in, nothing seems to be happening, so they wander out again. My husband went in one night when I was shopping at the Marketplace. He had no idea what it was. But after sitting through the show he insisted that we all go back the next night. Now it's on our "must do" list.

Re: Adventurers Club

Thanks Llama, to know that the kids can come along makes me happy. I wouldn't want them to have to sit at the Hotel while we have fun without them.
