Guest relations?

Where is this located at Downtown Disney and what are their hours? I will be arriving after 8 pm and need to have my APs activated before checking in to resort for one night. (using AP rate)

Re: Guest relations?

I actually have another question related to this. I was told by some past Disney guests that you don't actually need the annual pass to check in. They said you can show your voucher/receipt and then bring back the pass when you actually have it activated. Is this true? Just wondering?!

Re: Guest relations?

There are two Guest Relations in DTD. The first is in the area of the Pin station/little train ride, and by the Team Mickey store. It is nearer the parking lot, by a set of restrooms , etc. The second is in the Westside, and is over by Disney's Candy Cauldron. You might have to ask, this one is a bit hard to find.

Most of the time when checking in, they like to see the activated AP, thought they may take the voucher as proof, and have you come back once it is activated. I have found it best to just get it activated before hand, so there are no problems.

Re: Guest relations?

It would be great if I could only show the voucher and not have to come back to show the activated pass. I am only staying there one night. but better safe than sorry. I will stop at DtD before checking in.

Re: Guest relations?

Not only have I not been asked for the activated AP, I have never been asked to show the AP at all! I have heard from other people that they have never been asked to show their AP either.

I wouldn't make a special trip to activate it myself. Not when arriving in FL after a long trip. I'd want nothing better than to flop down in my room and relax for a bit. Even if, by some chance, they told you they need to see the activated card, you could always bring it back later.
