Pleasure Island Policies
Who is familiar with the policies for underage persons at Pleasure Island?
Are they allowed into say, the Adventurer's Club after 9pm? Do they just distinguish those old enough to drink by the bracelet, or do they not allow anyone underage in after 9? And how about the Designated Driver policy? Anyone know about that?

Re: Pleasure Island Policies
The kids are allowed there after nine and have to pay admission like everyone else according to the guide books. I don't know what the DD program is though. I do know that WDW transportation runs until it's closed and there is always the option of taking a cab back to your resort.

Re: Pleasure Island Policies
Thank you Dana. That's all good to know. We were hoping to bring a couple of teens with us to PI.
All I do know about the Designated Driver program is that supposedly they give that person a different colored bracelet and it's good for two free softdrinks. I'm hoping someone around here might have firsthand experience with using it.

Re: Pleasure Island Policies
i went when i was 21...for some reason i thought that no one under 18 was allowed in after 9pm...simply because you cant cart around a six year old to all the bars...there are some clubs that you simply cant go in until you are 21 no matter what im not sure of the names of them but you have to show your ID and wear a bracelet to get in those doors...but..i may be mistaken...also i believe no matter if you have a bracelet or not you still have to show your ID if your buying alchol drinks...they are really really really strict...i remember a girl who was twenty went with us and she had the brilliant idea to take someone elses bracelet who was twenty one and have them go up to the ticket counter and get another bracelet...however..the CM didnt fall for it and told my friend to get her bracelet back from our underage friend or we would all be kicked out in five minutes......but we were strupid kids...and now we're 23 so we're that much more mature...

Re: Pleasure Island Policies
All clubs are 18 up if you are by yourself, if you are under 18, you have to be with a 21+ at all times in the clubs. Everyone has to have a ticket, and there are limitations on the age limit to two clubs: BET and Mannequins. Th/Fr/Sat- Mannequins is 21+ only, and other days strictly 18+. Fr/Sat- BET is 21+, however on other nights people under 18 can get in (provided they are with a 21+ person). If you are a DD, you let the door host know and they will provide you with the information needed.

Re: Pleasure Island Policies
For me it is the time to myself away from the kids, The resorts offer great kids activity centers, where they have a blast while us adults have our grown up time.
