Pleasure Island Drinking question?

I know they have changed the way you get admitted to PI via each individual club.....

When the whole area was gated off and you got admitted once, you used to be able to take a drink from place to place.

Can you still do that with the way you are now admitted?

yeah. you can take your drink all over downtown disney, just not in a parking lot obviously.

I think the last thing Disney wants to encourage is people having to "bottoms up" before they leave a club. Then EVERYONE would be staggering around. LOL

We didn't get a chance to go this last trip. I remember when we went before, they had CM's walking around with trays of jello shots, test tube shots and bar carts. Do they still have all that too?

That place was just so unbelievable to us. We not much for clubs and we had a blast. Really upset to hear they closed the Wildhorse Saloon though. Oh Well.

I forgot about those jello shots!

Probably the best New Years Eve party (The real one, not the nightly one there) was about 9 maybe 10 years ago, It was $90 a ticket to PI, I took my mom and dad......HUGE seafood buffets, shrimp, crab, lobster, etc. In all the clubs.

Fleetwood Mac Played on the main stage, Buster Poindexter (David Johansen), played on the smaller outdoor stage and the Marshall Tucker Band played in the beach club.

What a blast that was!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm We are celebrating 10 years of wedded bliss at Fultons- and we have my sister sitting for the kids- sounds like Im loving PI's proximity to Fultons!! WooHoo!

My brother and I went to PI last November and we were going to buy the annual PI pass for like $60, but after walking around and seeing how there were literally almost no people in the clubs we decided to pass on the AP for PI, now we didn't go on a Fri or Sat night, which I know is much busier. we went on a Tues night, which in the past was CM night, so that brought peopl ein but not that night. We would have gone to PI on Fri or Sat night but we were getting up early Sat and Sun by 6am to get over to MGM for Super Soap Weekend. Ok before I get busted on, yes I am a guy and I go to Super Soap Weekend, but I go to take photos of the soap stars and I sell sets of 10 on ebay, it pays for my trip and some!! I am a sports photographer part-time here at home for a local newspaper, so I have the right equipment to get nice photos.

PI Cast Member night is now Monday and Thursday and if you want to really go on a busy non-weekend night you will want to go on a Thursday. Alcohol is not allowed off of the island, that includes Marketplace and West Side.
