Disney Home Store Now Closed!
It is now official, the Disney Home Store at Downtown Disney closed at the end of business this evening. Goofy's Candy Store will be moving into the current location of the home store and will feature an onstage candy experience kitchen. Goofy's Candy Co. will remain open until approximately 1 week prior to the opening of the new store at which point that location will close in preparations for "a new retail venture".

That is so sad. I loved the Disney Home store. I know that they will sell the stuff at WoD, but that just isn't the same. I just loved that store. I will need a period of mourning for this. I never went into Goofy's Candy Kitchen. I don't really eat Candy.
But, I love Disney Home Decor.

I cant understand why they did this? That store is always packed so I cant imagine it wasnt making money. But a candy store? WTF???

Yes, Goofy's candy kitchen was near there. But I guess the Home store spot is bigger, so they are moving the candy store into it's location
 . I wonder what they will put in the old candy store location??
