Cirque de Soliel seating
Has anyone been to see this show and can you suggest where the best seating would be? We are planning to go for our next trip and would like to know the best seats.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
I haven't been there yet, but am hoping to get seats for my next trip. I know there is a seating chart on their official site. Try that. I will take a peek and see if I can get that link. I need it for myself too.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
We're going next month. I called exactly 180 days before the day I wanted. We have the middle priced tickets, 4 seats in Row AA in Section 206 (I think that's it). This is the first row on that mid-walk way (or whatever it's called). I read somewhere that a lot of the pre-show takes place around there and characters come out of the entrance/exit so we'll get to see a lot right there. Also, people say you don't want to be down too close in the lower lever because you'll kill your neck from looking up since many acts are high above. Have fun. I'll let you know how our seats were when I do my trip report early May.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
Oh...that would be great!! Let me know how your seats are because I can't book mine until June 1st. In the mean time, I'll study the seating chart and get my strategy planned....ha ha!

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
The seats at this theater are all really good! We had the back row of the most expensive section, and right in the center of hte stage, too... but then we wondered why we had been worried about how good the seats would be... THEY ARE ALL GOOD! In fact, it might even be preferable to sit at least halfway back, so you can see more! Lots of stuff goes on in the audience, and lots goes on in the air above your heads! This is SUCH a great show!
Oh, and you can eat and drink in the theater!

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
I LOVED the show!!!!! We had Cat 3 seating that was on the bottom row of the section that is all the way to the left of the stage when you are looking at the stage. They were awesome seats!!! I would highly recomend the show, despite the high costs. Also, as one extra special tip: DO GET THERE THE 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOW THAT THEY RECOMEND!!! It is a very good idea, and keep in mind that the tickets are non-refundable.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
Disneyguy- only 20 minutes before the show time? We're going to do DisneyQuest that afternoon, so we'll be right there. What time should we go over to Cirque? Is 5pm too early? Don't they do a pre-show? Any advice?

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
I don't know of any pre-show activities because we got there after the 1st Act, long story.
Also, to anyone that might not be in the DTD area before the show, allow 5-10 minutes to walk from the bus stops to the "Big Tent", it is quite a walk.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
mickeymotto, I can't stress enough how much you will appreciate having a seat towards the back. (A) you can see everything and (B) your neck won't hurt by the end of the show!
I can understand why it would be cool to sit close to the stage, but frankly I don't think it is very comfortable or practical. For less money, you can have what I would call a better seat! LOLOMG disneyguy, you guys missed the first act too?? We just did NOT leave enough time to get from MGM to DTD, and like you said, the walk from the bus stops alone can take 10 minutes! That is my number-one tip for Cirque du Soleil: get there early. Get there early. Get there early. Get there early. Get there early. Get there early. Get there early.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
LOL.... Sounds like dznygirl and I are on the same wave length here. BTW: The reason it is such a big deal to be late is that they won't seat you until the end of the first act. Also, if you leave during the middle of the show you can't go back to your seat until it is between acts.

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
I better make sure that everyone makes a stop at the little boys room before we sit down then. Would hate to have to make a run and then not be able to get back to our seats!

Re: Cirque de Soliel seating
Wow..I was worried about where the best seats would be. So your saying I should try to get in the middle section, in the center? Or does it matter? I have a tendency to overplan, but I hate to spend so much money & be disappointed. I'll also make sure we are there early enough with a bathroom break for sure.
Thanks for all the great info!
