Scrapbook Supply location?

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the thread. Where in DTD do you pick up the scrapbook supplies? I've been looking at a few sites that shop WDW and then resell the Disney exclusive stuff for double the amount (like, the pack of Restaurant stuff is $25 on their site, but if you look closely at the picture, in some of them, the price they paid is shown--usually around $15). How easy is it to find? How abundant is it? My parents went last year, and Mom said she couldn't find ANYTHING scrapbook related.

Anyway, I've decided that we're just going to get all Disney exclusive stuff for the scrapbook for our trip--including the book itself. I know I'll have to make my own Star Wars stuff, but that's OK.

DW is a little miffed that I would rather pay the higher prices there and get their exclusive stuff than make my own, but I don't care. I think it would be cool to have their stuff for this once-in-a-lifetime trip that we're taking.

Just us. All alone. No kids. Staying in AKL. Savannah side. And it's a Star Wars Weekend, to boot. AAAaaaaaahhhh! Now THAT'S a VACATION!

Uh.... YES! Why do you think I'm so excited? We're going away for our 10th anniversary. That's why I'm about to pee my pants over this! We haven't had a single day to ourselves--just us--for two and a half years. And now we get a WEEK!!!!!!

That sounds SO NICE! Now that you're parents, you will probably worry 'bout them youngin's the entire time!

Yes, I'm sure I will. And I KNOW I'll miss them terribly when I see the little kids in their Jedi Training Camp--all dressed up in their miniature Jedi robes, swinging their lightsabers. And then they get to fight THE MAN himself. PLUS, they get to march in the parade! I'm SOOOO SICK about that! I mean, think of the PICTURES and the SCRAPBOOK PAGES I could do with that!

If Jonathan was a little older, I wouldn't have hesitated to take them with us. We wouldn't be staying in the AKL--probably Pop Century or one of the All Stars (probably the movies one, because I've heard that there's some Star Wars references in there somewhere, but haven't seen it myself). I just want the kids to be old enough to not have to be (1) carried or (2) ride in a stroller. I do want them to be big enough to ride all the rides, however.

Well...it's good that you are doing this now. Because, they are so little, you can totaly justify not taking them.

Try telling an 8 and 10 year old they have to stay home! LOL! It's NOT PRETTY.

I saw them all over WDW and we didn't go to DTD. I got a lot of stuff at the big store in Epcot (I forgot what it is called, but we got our Pal Mickeys there too), and here in DL, the World of Disney has all of it. I'd assume that the World of Disney in WDW has the same stuff.

I could have sworn that there was a scrapbooking store in DTD. Is that gone?

The BIGGEST selection I saw at WDW is at MK in the Exposition Hall (it's just to the right as you pass under the Main Street Train Station. It's in the same building as the Kodak camera/photo store. They have everything you need to make a really great scrapbook!

oh my gosh I looooove that DTD scrapbook store! It's called Disney's Wonderful World of Memories. I've also seen stickers and things like that at World of Disney and a few places in the parks... I know the Emporium, but I can't remember where else.

Thank you! I've been looking on the maps that I have, and Wonderful World of Memories isn't listed. Can anyone tell me where it is in DTD?

It's not listed?? Oh no... I hope it's still there.

If it is, it's between Rainforest Cafe and the Christmas store. I found this map with numbers of all the stores so you can see where it is (or was). The map seems pretty up to date though... it says the Disney Home store is closed, which happened pretty recently.

On all the maps I've seen online, it wasn't listed. Not that that means it's gone, it just means that it wasn't listed as one of those "must see" places. Of course, the ones that I was looking were a little older, because there were several places listed that aren't there anymore...

I just got back from there and I bought my share of SB supplies!! You can find them all over the parks now that scrapbooking has gotten so popular, but the DTD store is just inside the Marketplace entrance, past the kiddie play fountain, on the right! Have fun!!
