Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

Would like to take the kids for a fun night at Jellyroll's... has anyone been there, and can you tell me if it is good for the early-teen set?

I think you have to be 21 to get in Jellyrolls. There is also an $8 cover to get in.

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

Maybe the Adventurer's Club would be a good thing to take a young teen. Of course it's something entirely different, but might make them feel great about being out with the adults?

Dopey and llama... I need more scoop! What about Adventurer's Club is so fun for the kids? And also, do you have to pay to get into PI and then pay again to go to Adventurer's Club? Thanks!

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

No, you only have to pay once. The AC is so funny, it a night club with improv. I'm not sure of a good age to take kids but I have seen lots of kids there and some are very young.

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

I'm pretty sure that you have to be 21 to get into Jellyrolls. I have never seen a child in there. But it sure is fun. One of my favorite places to go when I'm vacationing at WDW. As for the Adventurer's Club, I guess I need to try that place again sometime. I just didn't understand it.

You just need to be patient and go along with the club members. It's wacky, but it's so much fun. I don't know if anyone ever really "understands" it. But by that time you've been inducted as a member of the Club. The first time we went our girls were 10 and 11 and they loved it.

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

The Adventurers Club is always a fun and exciting place to hang out! Even if you don't get swept up in the action and entertainment, you can amuse yourself for hours walking around and enjoying the "artifacts" on the walls. The entertainment grows a little more risque later in the evening and may not be appropriate for kids. KUNGALOOSH!

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

You definitely have to be 21 to get into Jellyrolls. If you are interested in a similar "sing-a long" type atmosphere that would be appropriate for younger teens, you might try the bar area at Port Orleans Riverside. I am not sure what nights he is there, but there is a performer there who is really entertaining and there is usually an all ages type group there.

Re: Jellyroll's -- Opinions please!

Even though the kids can't get into Jellyrolls, you should try it for yourself some night. It's really great fun.

And if you decide to forego the BW and head to PI instead, be sure to catch the Comedy Club as well as the Adventurer's Club. Both are perfectly suitable for young teens.
