Water Parks to Test Extra Magic Hours

For anyone going in September - I just found this on Allearsnet.com

"The latest twist on Extra Magic Hours involves Walt Disney World's two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Blizzard Beach will offer an Extra Magic Hour Morning on the following dates from 9:00am - 10:00am - August 31, September 7, 14, 21, and 28

Typhoon Lagoon will offer Extra Magic Hour evenings from 7:00pm - 10:00pm on the following dates - August 27, September 3, 10, 17, and 24"

Love the thought of TL on after a hot day!

If they do the extra magic hours in October, I may consider doing that for a few hours with my DD. I can't imagine that information catching on to fast...lol The less crowded the better in my eyes....less feet in the water

Woo-hoo -- sounds great to me! I love TL! I'm not so sure we'd take advantage of it though, since we like to visit the waterpark in the daytime and hit all sorts of other stuff at night (fireworks shows, Pleasure Island, Jellyrolls/Boardwalk, MNSSHP/MVMCP) our nights are usually pretty full... .

I love the idea and hope that it catches on!! We could arrive evening time and stay until it closes and not have to worry too much about sunburns!! We burn so easily! This would be a great option for evening fun for us, especially after a hot day running around the parks. Probably won't be able to take advantage of it during our Dec trip (unless it's unusually warm) but maybe for our March trip.

Typhoon Lagoon at night would be fantastic! I can't imagine a better place to be on a muggy evening!!

I told DH at lunch time and we agreed it would be fun after the parks and dinner to chill at TL for a few hours.
