Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
Ok, I need your input. Which one would you do?
We will be in WDW in December. I have two DD's and 1 DS. DH and DS are going to DQ one day and my DD's and I are having a girl day together. I looked into the Princess tea and it sounds great except for the price tag !!!!! $335.00! So, that is still an option, but I am wondering if it were you guys, would you do that or....... Go to DTD get hairwraps and shop til we drop? $335 could buy alot of souveneirs! Please help!!!

Re: Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
I agree that is a lot of money! But, with that said, I am thinking of doing that with my DD next time we go (if they still have it!) just because there is nothing else that says girly than the princess tea. Other ideas would be to shop, shop shop! (hey can't do too much of that!). Maybe you could get manicures at the GF spa. Try to get into one of the princess lunches and combine that with shopping. But no matter what you do, they will remember it was a special time with you and whatever you do will be fun!
Can't wait to hear what you decide!! ![]()

Re: Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
Isn't the Wonderland Tea Party a drop-off event? Kinda defeats the purpose of hanging out with the girls!

Re: Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
Instead of the tea, why not jut make a PS for a princess breakfast. Afterwards, you can let them each choose something to do.

Re: Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
Trust me, getting manicures (or pedicures!) will make you and your DD feel like princesses! You can enjoy soaking in the jacuzzi for a little bit afterwords too, if you like. It's worth every penny to get a treatment at the spa.

I think you should do the tea - I have a son so I am living vicariously......don't you get an American Girl Doll (Disneyfied) with that?

Re: Girls Day Out! Need your input!!
I did the tea for Karlie's 6th birthday and it was wonderful, albeite pricey. She got a bracelet,a tiara, and a large disney american-girl type doll in an aurora outfit. There were finger sandwiches and fancy cake and singing and dancing and storytelling. It was very special. If you can afford it ,do it. It will be a memory to last a lifetime.
