DisneyQuest for 4.5 yr old?

I was browsing at allears.net about disneyquest. My 4.5 yr old is addicted to video games. Anyone been to disneyquest? I saw the prices...does that cover all the games or do you have to play to pay them? Will a 4.5 yr old like disneyquest?

I actually spoke to someone and they said that there is a section of video games that are free and another section where you use tokens for.

I hope this helps.

Been there/done that. As Dac states, some are a pay as you go. Your addict should have a blast. There is a lot to do. And DQ will not be around much longer.

I am sure he would love it. I am just trying to decide if the cost is worth it. It would be for two adults and DS...so it would be a little over $100 to get in. Then if we have to buy tokens...food...etc. Kinda pricey for an arcade. But I do know DS would go nuts there. He went crazy at Pizza Planet and the hotel arcades. We will see...thanks for the input

Does he go from video game to video game rapidly or is he happy to just keep playing one game or two? The reason I ask is the Neverland Club (or any of the kids clubs) have video games. You can put him in there for $10 per hour and he can play all he wants. You can go have a nice dinner.

Or, there is Innoventions East and West in Epcot and they also have video games and computer games. My DS6 could have spend hours and hours in there.

For a 4.5 year old I would not spend the money going to DQ. I bet he will be happy with either of these options. My ds loooovess video games as well and he did both of these and loved it. I think if you set his sights too high at only 4 then he will just keep wanting more and more from video games. Maybe keep it simple for now? Just a thought.

I don't know how long your trip is but another option would be to get the water park & more option that way DQ would be included. I did not notice any games that took tokens when I was there last. DW had to drag me out of there kickin and screamin like a spoiled little girl. Video games galore and some really cool rides! Just talking about it makes my hands shake.

Re: DisneyQuest for 4.5 yr old?

We did it the same way Day Dreamer did, as an add-on option to our tickets. Personally, I was insulted to see Asteroids in the 'retro' section.

Our trip will be from Sept 15-18th. We have seasonal passes so the add-on is not an option this time around. Although we do have to buy DS his pass. We had not decided whether we were getting him the Play 3 hopper or seasonal. Probably the seasonal.

I was wondering the same thing? We have yet to try it. Seems like we run out of time each trip.

Both of my boys liked it too. They loved making the robots (we use them as toothbrush holders) and the video game where you collect ice cream was big fun too!
