Fantasia Golf

Hi all,
Now the new year is seriously upon us we have started to get the plans rolling for our April break. We have passed lots of times, the crazy golf course ( Mickey's fantasia ??) and DH always says he would like to go there one day, but my question is....or rather questionS!!!.....how do you get there? Is it somewhere you would have to go by car or can you hop on a WDW bus on route to somewhere else-or indeed does one go there? Has anyone been? Any good?

Re: Fantasia Golf

I haven't been to the Fantasia Gardens, but we went to the Winter Summerland miniature golf. It was a lot of fun. It was a nice way to spend some quiet time away from the crowds. For the Winter Summerland we took the bus to Blizzard Beach and walked over to it. It wasnt a long walk at all. I would think it would be near something you can take the WDW bus to.

Hopefully someone will come along with an answer for you.

Re: Fantasia Golf

We did the Fantasia Golf a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. I think we took the bus, I don't remember which trip it was on, but pretty sure you can ride a bus to it! We are not golfers AT ALL, so the "serious" course was pretty tough for us, but we still had fun!

Re: Fantasia Golf

You can take bus transportation to the Swan Dolphin, and walk across the street. Not that far of a walk. It is a fun thing to do.

Re: Fantasia Golf

I have been there a number of times and really enjoyed it! As timsha said you can hop on a bus to Swan and Dolphin and then walk over to it. Oh, I'd suggest if you're planning on going to go at night. It's usually empty and it's not as hot out. Also if you're a DVC member or an Annual Pass Holder, I believe you get a discount- but don't quote me on that.

Re: Fantasia Golf

We walked from the Swan and Dolphin too - it was not far.

The "challenging" course is really challenging over there - it drove us crazy! But it was a lot of fun.

Re: Fantasia Golf

We love Fantasia! It's a nice break from the parks and a heck of a lot of fun. There are usually discounts of some sort for it.

Having a car is probably the easiest way of getting there - but walking over from the Swan or Dolphin would be pretty easy too.

Re: Fantasia Golf

I love Fantasia golf.
We took the bus from DTD to the Swan and walked over to the golf course. We had a great time.

Re: Fantasia Golf

We've played both Fantasia and Summerland courses. The Summerland course has a funnier theme but was very buggy when we went. Fantasia of course is themed after the movie and was fun too.

We had a car both times but a taxi might not be a bad idea instead of hopping bus to bus to get there and back.
