Disney Quest

I just read in The Unofficial Guide that not everything inside of Disney Quest is included in the price of admission.

Does anyone know what attractions require an extra fee on top of the price of admission?

Thanks,
Kathy

Re: Disney Quest

The only thing extra I can think of is food and souvenirs ;) All the games we have encountered were included with admission, unless Ive missed something. I think it used to be different where you had to use credits to play there, but it isn't like that anymore.

I know that if you do the Animation activity, you have to pay to get what you have drawn. Also, there is a music mixer that you have to pay for the cd you make.

Re: Disney Quest

There are some video games that do cost extra. The reason they charge is that those games spit out tickets that you can turn in for prizes.

There aren't very many of those games though. The majority of the machines are included with the ticket price.

Re: Disney Quest

The activity floor all cost you if you would like to keep what you have made, sung or drawn as a souvenir. Almost all the video games are free with the exception of the games you receive tickets for prizes as Tink74 said. Otherwise, besides food and souvenirs, all is free.

Re: Disney Quest

Thanks everyone for your help!

My initial understanding was that everything was included, but when I read that last night I was worried we would have to pay for things like CyberSpace Mountain, Invasion! An Alien Encounter, and Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride.

I'm glad to hear all of that is included. I can understand having to pay for things that you get to take away with you, like the animation and cd's.

I also heard that there are some height restrictions on some of the attractions inside of Disney Quest. Is there anywhere to find out what these restrictions are before we go? I'd rather prepare ds5 ahead of time if he won't be able to do something.

Re: Disney Quest

The only thing I can think of is the video we purchased of the roller coaster ride my boys built and then rode. They made a tape of that for something like $12.00. I had to have it
Food costs extra. But I didn't think I would eat in there. It looked pretty unappetizing when we were there.

Thank you for the link Ready2Go! That is an awesome resource.

Unfortunately both of my kids are too short to do the CyberSpace Rollercoaster thing. Too bad, we were all looking forward to trying it. I guess it will have to wait until the next trip -- I don't think it would be right for me to try it and leave them out of it. I would feel too guilty.

It gives us just another reason to go back.
