Extreme little princess makeover, Disney style, is moving to the Magic Kingdom.
A second location of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Disney's salon for young princesses and pirates, will open in September at the Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World announced.

Young girls can choose from three makeover packages ranging in price from $35 to $245: the "coach," with hairstyle and makeup; the "crown," with hairstyle, nails and makeup; and the "castle," with hairstyle, nails, makeup, an imaging package and princess costume, complete with a crown, wand and shoes.

Within each makeover package, the girls also can choose from three different hairstyles -- the Disney Diva, the Pop Princess or the Fairytale Princess.

The Magic Kingdom salon will be open every day from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Children must be 3 years or older and theme park admission is required.

The first salon is located at Downtown Disney Marketplace, inside the World of Disney Princess Room

I called yesterday and changed my DD's ressie from DTD to the MK. I was told that it's more expensive at the MK than DTD. When I asked for the delta, the CM said $5. I think the time lost traveling to DTD is worth $5 to me. We're staying at the Poly...so it's a hop, skip and a jump to the MK.

I can't wait to see it.....so annoyed that I would look like a freak getting "done" in there...lol My DD is even to old for this...wish they had this when she was a little princess.

I have to admit my heart aches a little when I see these little princesses all dolled up in their little dresses. I would have love to see my DD be able to do this she would have loved it.

She will be 15 this month, fat chance I'd have getting her to put on a princess dress.

I didn't notice a price difference from MK to DTD, maybe that's just me. I booked Kelsey for the first week it's open, on our night of MNSSHP. I think I'm more excited than her!

I think this is great! Too bad the MK one won't open until Sept. I think it would be almost magical for a little girl to walk into Cinderella's castle to be made over and then walk out of the castle looking like a princess......I want to do it...

Am I the only one thats not a fan of the Boutique? I don't know, it just seems silly for someone else to dolly up little girls when its taking precious mommy-daughter bonding time.

Not that I'm an expert on the subject...I'm not even married. Just sayin...
