Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had ever been to Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. I am planning a trip with 4 friends (we are all in our early twenties) for late fall and we are trying to figure out our nighttime entertainment options (outside the park entertainment of course!) I have heard good things about Jellyrolls but have never been myself. Do they have cover charge?

Thanks

Karen

Hi! I haven't been either, but I have also heard many good things about Jellyrolls. It is my understanding that there is a cover charge. Check out Mary's review of it on her site: mousesavers.com.

Have a great time!:)

Hi Karen!
I have never been to Jellyrolls, but have passed by many times. It looks like so much fun! I believe that they do have a cover charge. If I remember correctly, Atlantic Dance waived the admission charge.
Happy planning!

Jellyrolls is a ton of fun! Those guys know every song you can think of. If you make a request, you will have a better chance of hearing it if you slip a dollar up with your request. They are so funny and very talented. If you dont like it after a while, you can always stroll around Boardwalk till you find something else you like to do.

I believe the cover at Jellyrolls is $6.

If you're looking for nighttime entertainment, don't forget Pleasure Island. One admission fee gets you into eight clubs.

Jellyrolls is so much fun! My DH and I did it a few times about 5 years ago, before we were married and had a baby. Now our nightlife is not as exciting as it was before...LOL. Anyway, it is so much fun and it is not expensive to walk in the door, either. If it is crowded, everyone joins in the singing and the 2 piano players duel for the crowd's attention...definitely a fun night out! Have fun!

Just a bit o' trivia for you: Jellyrolls is (or at least was) owned by Bruce Williams, who has done a national radio program for years.

And more trivia about Bruce and Disney... they did his radio program live onboard the 1st Disney Cruise. At one of the ports, the engineer responsible for the satellite hookups failed to reboard the boat and it left without him. About halfway through the show, Bruce just kinda faded out of existance... :D

I am very excited! One of my friends has been there before and says that it was maybe the best time she has ever had at WDW. I can't wait! November is not soon enough!

My DW and I went to Jellyrolls Saturday night and had a great time. The cover charge has gone up to $7 but it's still worth it. As with any sing-along format, the bigger the crowd the more fun it is. You'll have a great time!!

i loved jellyrolls. my fiance and i checked it out one night and had a good time. the admission fee was $7. you get this stamp on your hand for free re-entry if you happen to leave jellyrolls. i took advantage of that stamp to go the bathroom at jellyrolls a little while after we left.
the piano players play just about any song you can think of. make sure you have a pen with you to make a request, if you want, on a cocktail napkin. if you give them a tip, like a dollar or so, they will more than likely play your song. i did just that and they played the song i requested: "ob-la-di ob-la-da" by the beatles. it was great hearing them play that song.
so, if you plan on going to jellyrolls one night, make sure you have $7, a pen and a song to request. you'll have a lot of fun. :laugh

Thank to everyone who posted here about Jellyrolls all those months ago when I was planning my trip! We went to Jellyrolls on the first night of our vacation and had such a great time that we went back a second time! There were some crazy people there both nights we were there and everyone was having a great time! It was well worth the $7 cover charge and when we went back on Sunday night, they had mini bottles of Bud Light on special for $1 which was really cheap!

Wish I was still in Disney World now!

Quick question - Can you use your KttW at Jellyrolls and other Boardwalk places (aka Flying Fish) or do I need to bring cash along? I'm planning on going on Dec. 13th.

Also - Is it crazy crouded on Sat nights?

Thanks!

:)
