Orlando Science Center
Just wondering if anyone has been to the Science Center. When we go in March our friends are only able to do one park . Our plan is to go to Magic Kingdom saturday (they are only buying a one day pass...no hopping), and sunday to the science center. Then they are leaving to go back home once we finish there. The science center looks like the Science Museum in Ft Lauderdale which my ds and their ds love. Not to mention the Titianic exhibit happens to be at the museum now and we all are looking forward to seeing that (I saw it years ago and loved it).
So anyway, just wondering if anyone has been there and how were the hands-on exhibits. Thanks for the info. |

Re: Orlando Science Center
We went this past summer. I wish we would have gotten there earlier than we did (we got there about 2:00 pm) because we missed alot of stuff I wanted to do and see. It was nice and different for us because we don not have something that big in Tallahassee for us. I would say it is nice to try it at least once. We did like it,but again, I would have like more time there. They have a hurricane simulator and that was pretty cool. They have a few pretty good shows and plenty of hands on. I wanted to to a lb that they have there but missed all the times
. I think you would enjoy it as long as you give yourself plenty of time to explore.

Re: Orlando Science Center
Is the Science Centre near to WDW? I only ask because this would be something we would love to see, especially the exhibitions. We often visit the Kennedy Space Centre as we find this so interesting and a really good day out.

Re: Orlando Science Center
I believe it took us about 20 or 30 mins. to get there from where we were. Not to bad. we were close to I-4 and to the MK exit.

Check out the Center's website. It really does look pretty cool. We plan on making a day out of it if we go. I cant wait to see the Titanic exhibit again , aside from the science stuff. |

Re: Orlando Science Center
The Orlando Science Center is great I took 22 girl scouts there in the summer of 2006 and they enjoyed it!

Re: Orlando Science Center
Cool tip someone once told me: Before going on a vacation in any location do a web search for kids party places in those locations - you would be surprised what you find (all kids related stuff) and most places have a general admission times.
