ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! A diamond in the shape of Mickey's head!?!?!? OMG I love your boyfriend!!!!!! (Well, you know.... ) Sounds like Prince Charming....

So, what better place to tie the knot than WDW? DO IT!!! I'll confess.... I'm only 16, but I've been planning my dream Disney wedding since I was like 14....... I've ordered two of the free dvds, now. There's so many options.... I don't know how people choose! However, budget is probably a key deciding factor, considering that the prices are a bit outrageous. But if Daddy's paying, spend, spend, spend! jk....

Also, an alternative, but probably not much of a price cut would be to have your wedding in Celebration, FL at the Celebration Hotel. Still.... hard to beat the magic of Disney.

I didn't get married there because my in-laws squashed it and refused to come if I did it.
But I did have my honeymoon there! We stayed at the Grand Floridian in the honeymoon suite section. That is my suggestion. Stay there in that section! You have a personal view of Cinderella's Castle and the fireworks from your balcony! It's also set apart from the rest of the rooms. It's on the second floor but you have a special way to get to the wing. That way you don't have noise and other distractions interfering with your stay. It was GREAT! I can't wait to stay there again with my DH some day.
Also when I was planning to have my wedding there, we got the wedding video which can help answer questions. Just call Disney and ask for it, it's free just like the regular planning video they send you.
Plus you can have your personal wedding planner and they will help you choose what's best for your wants and needs. You will love every step of the way.
My advise don't let others change your plans. I still regret it! My wedding wasn't anything like I always wanted or hoped for. Other than us getting married and my dress. Not even the bridesmaid dresses and matron of honor. Do what's right for you and your fiance!

I'm getting married there in a couple of weeks.. At the Disney Wedding Pavilion and then my reception is at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Can't wait I'm so excited!!

hehe, that's a cute story!!! I am a little bit of a diamond admirer (dangerous, I know) and I just wanted to give you this link that is a GREAT little reference guide for cut/shape:

I personally only do Emerald, Princess, or Asscher cut because I love the style of those but if you live in NYC you have the diamond world at your feet!!! Go out and get a feel for what you like!!

oh wow, i haven't had a chance to get to my comp. for a while since i just started my senior yr (college)...and im swamped with work... but OH SWEET MICKEY...2nd star... that ring pic totally made me recant my previous notion of not getting a mickey ring...now i kinda really want it! i'm just going to print it and casually leave it somewhere ;)

i thank you for the support... and hey i haven't had the guts to tell his family my plans yet...financially i'm...we (he and i)...are going to have to pay for it...though im not sure he's 100% aware of that haha...but anyway i figure i'f im paying for it then im having the wedding of my dreams.

i guarantee his family will not be 100% for it...

since when did everyone become so serious?
