Re: Disney Wedding...
subscribing! No I've not had one, (I'm not even married yet and we haven't made plans that far ahead) but I do know that the Disney wedding is nothing short of SPECTACULAR, they had a special on it on Food Tv, I think it was unwrapped on Disney World and they said exactly what happens and stuff they give you a BEAUTIFUL cake! good luck I'll be very interested in this thread!

Re: Disney Wedding...
Congratulations!!!! I too saw Disney Weddings on TV and I loved the little individual castle cakes you can give to each guest. I thought this was really special since you normally just get a regular slice of wedding cake.

Re: Disney Wedding...
Don't have any personal experience but I will dive in anyway.
![]() First off here is a link to the official wedding site for Disney resorts. Disney Weddings > Gateway If you do not know it, Disney has a wedding Pavillion located between the Poly and the Grand Floridian. According to my cursory glance at the website they offer a small wedding option there. You could then go over to the Grand Floridian for additional pictures. It seems like almost every time we stop by the GF in the afternoon, we see wedding parties being escorted around for pictures. From what I have seen of the Wedding Gazebo at the Yacht Club, I think it would be a nice choice. If you want to go the opposite way, the Polynesion Resort would be nice. I am not positive where Sunset Point is located, but I think the lush tropical theming would be nice. BTW, congrats |

Wow. A Disney wedding? Congratulations!
I too have seen the brides in the GF lobby. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to have pictures taken.

Re: Disney Wedding...
Welcome to MB! I know that there are a few here at MB that have married at WDW. The one I remember reading about last year was Mickey McFizzle. Her TR made me dream of a WDW wedding myself.

Re: Disney Wedding...
I got married at Disney last year. It was absolutely amazing, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Feel free to ask me any questions!
We had our wedding at the Boardwalk - Ceremony at Seabreeze Point and Reception at Boardwalk Hotel. Once you get the ball rolling with them, they will guide you every step of the way. There are a few different ways to do a Disney wedding for different budget levels, so definitely look on their website to get an idea before you call. They are really creative - you would not be disappointed! They were everything we could have asked for and then some :-) |

Re: Disney Wedding...
We were looking into a vow renewal for our ten year wedding anniversary trip next month but none of our relatives could make it so that takes a little of the fun out of it. We are planning ahead for maybe our 15th or 20th anniversary.

Re: Disney Wedding...
When it comes to Disney Weddings always listen to McFizz! There was also another member on here named Tragic, she had a Disney wedding as well but I haven't seen her around in awhile. But either one of those ladies are a great resource.

i had to post a bit of an update, mainly because no one but a disney fan would appreciate this...
...i feel like this wedding may be closer than i think and while i originally didn't think he was 100% on board, my boyfriend caught me off-guard yesterday and started asking me about an engagement ring. so he goes on to ask about the cut of the stone and i really dont know the names of the cuts that well and i KNOW he has no idea... so he asks "well, what i guess i'm saying is...do you want the ring in the shape of mickey's head when i get it?" lol, that is too too priceless. ps. thanks for all the posts/messages helping me with this wedding again =)
