Parasailing???
Has anybody out there in DC Land parasailed at Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon? We've been to WDW many times, but never taken advantage of that. My dd and I we reading about it in the Birnbaum guidebook. It's about $125 for a two-person, 10-minute ride. It sounds fun and we're the two most daring (or dumbest, depends on your point of view) members of our family, anyway. Sounds like it might be a real hoot!

I didnt even know they did this until this weekend. When i went to MK, and was taking the monorail to the TTC I saw someone parasailing. I thought maybe it was something new since I'd never seen it done there before. I dont' have any info on it though, sorry!

From Sammy Duvall's FAQs:
Q. Can I have a rider on the boat? A. No, the parasail boat is reserved for those who are flying. Q. How long will I be on the water? A. While each flight last approximately 10 minutes long, we take up to 5 flights per 1/2 hour, so you will be out on the water for around 30 minutes. And the parasailing prices: Single Flight : Regular- $85.00 per flight (8-10 minutes at 450 feet) Premium- $ 105.00 per flight (10-12 minutes at 600 feet) Tandem Flight: Regular- $135.00 per flight (8-10 minutes at 450 feet) Premium- $155.00 per flight (10-12 minutes at 600 feet) I don't think the pricing is out of line of any other resort's parasailing costs. mickaholic, what kind of pricing have you seen for parasailing? |

Doesn't Sammy Duvall also offer water skiing?
If you can water ski, why can't you swim in the lakes? I know they say it is because of bacteria in the water, but I sure take in alot more water skiing than I do swimming! Are there alligators around Disney? |
