Gold Plan / Cirque Soleil

Help.

So far my email to disney went unanswered, not 100% who i should speak to there either.

My question is thus and I hope there is someone out there that is in the know.

I was told by my travel agent I cannot book my Cirque ticket until the package is payed for in full...this is September for me. (Going in November, staying at the Wilderness Lodge)

Now she said this on a couple of things including the Luau, which when i was booking my PS through WDW reservations they told me the opposite and booked the Luau straight away noting my plan.

Its been 4 almost 5 years since I've been to WDW and I remember at the Floridian you just go to a seperate counter to pick up tickets and pay after reserving them months in advance. I guess that's why i'm questioning what she said unless the cirque sends your tickets to you directly?

If I sound confused its because i am :dazed

You can make Cirque du Soleil reservations now, as long as your deposit is paid. Your TA can just add it to the package, and they will book the tickets for you. You will receive a voucher from Disney when your balance is paid, that you will need to turn into the box office at least an hour before performance to pick up your tickets.

Just to clarify ... i can call and book the ticket. Then when my package is paid I'll get the voucher to take to pick it up.

No payment required on my part upon reservation? Possibly a credit card hold like the Luau?

Thanks so very much for all the help.

I am not sure on that one. I think they will just add it to your package, and there won't be any type of cc due, even to hold it.

My question is along the same lines...it's about Cirque du Soleil, and any answers are appreciated!
I just purchased my tickets for Cirque...from TicketMania (I wanted to try Maple Leaf, but have no way of purchasing them when I get down there, which was the only option.) TicketMania says they'll make the Cirque reservations for us, but since they can only be made 30 days ahead, they will contact us later as to when we want to go to the show.

I'm nervous about just waiting for them to contact me. Has anyone done this before?
Besides, I thought Cirque ressies could be made 6 months in advance??? :dazed

P.S. Love the avatar, anlashokna! Just stopped using that one recently myself. ;)

If its not a big difference in price and you can cancel without penalty I would go straight through disney. From what they told me i just have to pick them up an hour before the performace. But according to the passporter you should be able to get ressies six months out.

Try this number. Its the WDW Travel Co. I'm roughly 105 days out from my trip. They were really sweet and even booked my PS seating for Illuminations and parades since she had me on hte phone.

Its under the gold package add on. From what they were telling me you meet at a designated area..check in and are escorted to a roped off area designated for the gold package purchasers. I'm not sure what other packages offer this.

You also get PS for the Animal Kingdom Parade and you have to call back about a week before your trip for PS for MK Fireworks and I believe the parade as well. (don't qoute me on the parade).

Hope that helps. Not sure i want PS for the MK Fireworks myself. Can see them from almost anywhere in the park.
