Atlanta Monorail Owner

This came out in my local newspaper about a year ago and I just remembered I had it.

"Chip Young knows how to have fun. The 48-goin-on-ten year old owner of Ambulance South in Fayette County GA collects toys. Some are small like the miniature figures of Snow White and Mickey from his many visits to Disney World- and some are big like the orginal motorcar from Disney Worlds first monorail that sits beside his 8,000 square foot party barn...."

The article goes on but that is all they say about the Disney Monorail.

Cool huh???

Wow, that's taking your obsession to the extreme!
Could you imagine having a portion of the monorail in your backyard? Of course with an 8,000 sq. ft. party barn, who'd notice?!

there's quite a bit of info at www.monorails.org on this guy. it was the prior monorail red where they had to close all the doors by hand. the funny part is it matches his red barn.

anyhow click here for some pics and the story on monorails.org

I would love to have a peice of the monrail in my back yard I think that would be Although I dont think that my DH would like it too much, unless of coarse I was living in it...... :laugh :D

I can remember the bec=nch seats of the old mark 4 monorails being a very comfortable spot to fall asleep when I was 4 or 5, I'm sure I fell asleep on this particular monoral several times so maybe it wouldn't be that bad to live in.
