Help A Student!!! Any artists out there??

Hi
I'm Martin (you might have guessed) and i'm a 16 yr old stuent from the UK (taking an art GCSE in about hmmmmmmm 2 months!) and for my exam i'm doing a picture of a few of the following objects: Cinderella Castle, Mainstreet Station, Mark VI Monorail & The Grand Canyon Concourse of the Contemporary Resort.
How can you fit all these objects into one picture i hear you ask - well i can't decide at the moment!
One idea that i had was to put Cinderella Castle in the background, put the Mainstreet Station in front of it, with the monorail in front of that (this view is technically possible by looking at the MK from one of the ferries across the Seven Seas Lagoon).
Another idea is taking a picture of the grand canyon concourse (from Contemporary R) looking towards the mural on the wall. Then, i would use this as the background, remove the mural, remove most of the details and strip it back to some bare lines running into the distance, with the Cinderella Castle there instead of the mural. Perhaps the monorail could run alongside, or along the bottom of the picture as a kind of border, forming a sort of abstract piece. However, my art teacher has told the class that we have to have AN ARTIST CONNECTION with our work for the exam piece.

So, my question is: -
Can any of you think of a possible artist (anyone at all!!) that i could connect this work with? My teacher has suggested Salvador Dali (because of his work with Roy Disney in created some long lost film that is being released soon) or Walt Disney himself. I have already tried searching for Bill Martin (architect of the Cinderella Castle) but i havne't had many result in Yahoo. Can you think of any one that i could connect this piece with???

I have an art lesson tomorrow (24/3/04) and thursday (25/3/04) and yes that does mean that i have about an hour before i go to bed now, (its 10:43pm as i type) and so i would really appreciate it if you could reply in under 24 hours!!! lol
Of course i will take into account that you say, and i have 2 months for you to get any ideas out there that you might have!!

I really appreciate anything that you come up with :D

I like the vivid intensity of Peter Max's colours, and with that said and the magic of disney, I think that would be a great combo....

Just thought I d throw in my two cents.

Thanx for the replies, I did check out a bit of Peter Max's work, but by the time I checked this thread for replies I only had a little while to get the work done.
Sorry for taking so long to reply - been busy because of all these exams... but I can relax now with a nice 10 week holiday till September

I will try to post an image of my finished picture on here as soon as I get it back, but that wont be until October i'm afraid - i think it turned out quite well in the end....i'll keep you posted though

Yes, as an aspiring college artist I would love to see this! I made a 'dynamic collage' themed around Disney World myself...maybe I'll post it someday.

Ah I thought I may look back through my old thread, I still havent actually got my work back yet coz they've lost it somewhere in that art room. Its now been over a year since they got back into school, but I did manage to photograph it while it was on display

What it is, is basically the Grand Canyon Concourse of the Contemporary Resort in the background, with the top spires of Cinderella's Castle on the next layer, then also the main window frame from Mainstreet Station, and at the front we have the famous WDW Monorail!

I got an A* for this, I am really pleased with it.. even though i dont have the original any more
