La Nouba - Best / Worst Sections

OK. I know that there aren't any bad seats at La Nouba. :)

But are there any sections that are particularly good?

I'm going to order Category 2 seats tonight and I'd like to know if I should consider trying to get the forward rows in sections 202 or 206 (on either side of the entry ways) or if I should target rows EE or FF in sections 203-205. This is assuming that sections 101 and 105 are already sold out. Something tells me that these sections get held for people who have Silver Plan packages anyway. :hmmm

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've been to a few different Cirque shows and feel that being higher up has its advantages. There is so much going on during each act that being able to take it all in at once is preferable (to me) to being close to the performers.

When I attended La Nouba (twice) we sat in the first row after the aisle in the theater. The show opens with a parade down this aisle and it is right in front of you. Also the pre-show performers are in this area. For the remainder of the show, you are able to see the entire stage in its visual and sonic grandeur.

Enjoy the show!

We sat up fairly high, right in the middle-ish section of the theater. (Not sure which section that is.) But I definitely liked being up high--I felt I had a much better view of everything going on at once. I'm sure sitting down front would be cool, but even from where we were sitting, we were often craning our necks to look up.

OK personally I think that sitting up front you miss soooo much, plus those seats are sooo expensive. There are so many things in the background to see(musicians and singers, as well as actors, in character, watching the show). I bought Category 3 seating and was worried, but the CM assured me that what I was buying was good. It turned out to be very true. We were in Section 201(the very left side when looking at the stage) and row AA. The CM on the phone said anything on Row AA is wonderful and I would totally agree. It is the same row that a lot of Category 2 seating is in. Disney does have a seating chart online, and they now allow you to buy tickets online (that is new). Here is the site: Click Here By the way, do arrive absoloute minimum of 15 minutes early because if you do not get seated before the show starts you have to wait until the end of the first act.

I truly believe that every seat in there is good. It is all a matter of how much you want to pay.

That's why I saved $45 by taking the Category 3 seats.

;)

Thanks everyone for all your advice. Now I have more money for "stuff" (probably pins for the kids)

Just wondering if there is a dress code for this show?

I've been to the Cirque Du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas and it seems people dress up for these shows. What about the one
at Downtown Disney?

I've gone to a Cirque show in Boston and there isn't really a dress code, although I suspect that you'd feel out of place in torn jeans and a Black Sabbath t-shirt. ;)

For stuff like this, resort casual is always safe. (i.e. no t-shirts, no tank tops, no halter tops, no tube tops, no sandals. Collared shirts, clean shorts, slacks, skirts, blouses are all acceptable)

We just saw this show a few days ago... I think we were in section 204, row HH (I know it was dead-center of the theater in teh last row of the premium-priced seats. The view was incredible, and we were glad not to be too close to the stage (an't tell you why... see for yourself!), and we were also thrilled to be up higher to see the show from that angle! That said, the people who paid a lot less than we did and who sat right behind us had the same view!!! I say go for the less-expensive seats, but try to be in the middle sections, not too far to the left or right...
