Hello!!! I am looking to buy pins for my upcoming trip.. I am new to pin buying and trading and am looking to start my 2 dd's collections.... If any one has any reasonably priced or as lots or grab bags PLEASE PLEASE im me or email me....i am NOT looking for anything special... just something to get them started... thanks a zillion......

My DD will be home in about a half hour. I'll get her to look through her traders. She collects pins for trading....usually cheap ones I get online or ones that she got last year from trading that she isn't really wanting to keep. All her special pins go in her pin book. I am certain she has two she can part with. I'll report back.

My DD has two pins, one for each DD. She will not take money for them. We got them free in batteries that I bought. Not the best pins, but definately tradeable and that's all you need to get started. Keep your eyes open for the pins sales on disney direct. I was able to get quite a few on there for under $6...and they are big, gorgeous pins. They are due for a pin sale and you can get them as low as $3 a pin.

no no no dana!!!!! i insist that my kids have to give something for the pins... we dont have any but the kelloggs.... do you have those yet?? if not thats what i will send... if not at least let me send your dd some mickey money....

Just keep her in mind on your trip and send her a postcard. She wants to give them and expects nothing for them. She has plenty (to many) actually traders for our trip. We insist on giving them to your DDs.

I'll tell you only if you promise not to get her anything but a postcard from your trip...... promise? her fav is pooh. I mean it only a postcard. She is really not wanting anything in return but a postcard. You are going in February, right? Her birthday is that month. If you could send a postcard from pooh saying "happy birthday Sara" that will be more than enough.

I recommend looking for pins on ebay. Pins sold in lots are usually cheaper. Keep a close eye on shipping charges, as some overcharge on shipping.

A good ebay pin buy will be for around $2.50/pin including shipping. Of course with pins being over $6 at WDW, anything less will save you money.

I buy ebay pins that are being sold in lots and generally aren't collectable (I have 23 identical Millineum Pins!). Since I am only buying them for trading at the parks, I don't care what I get so long as they are tradeable.

very true... i guess thats where i will go... i tried ebay today but my system is soooo slow. i cant wait for santa to bring my dh a new computer for xmas...
