It has an actual piece of tire from the Maelstrom ride on it! I wonder if there are other pins out there with actual WDW parts on them?

Never mind! I got my answer. Yes, there is a series called "Piece of History" and it has a lot of pins form a lot of different attractions. Each one has a bit of the actual ride on it. Here are a couple more -- I also saw Test Track and Jungle Cruise.

Here's another really interesting pin... it sold about a week ago for $52 on eBay! The booklet is hinged, and it flops open! How cool is that?

My DH and I have both sets. Very cool. We were disappointed when we found out that there would be no 2007 series. The very first pin, (20,000 leagues) has sold for as much as $200+.

That one is awesome too! I think I have actually seen that one in person before - I knew a guy who worked at DL that had a bunch of rare pins on his "personal" lanyard. I'm pretty sure he had that one!!

We saw the Pieces pins at WDW a couple of years ago when we were there last time, and I wanted one of those ; however, my DD was trying to get a certain set so it as all about buying pins to trade with CMs in order to trade up. Next time, I plan to buy the pins I want. I love the onesthat show old pieces of Disney, like the rides and the tickets. I remember all that stuff and I love it.
