Invite others to apply for Disney Reservation Sales Agent roles
Date: 05/06/2004

The Disney Reservation Center in Orlando now is accepting resumes for full-time Reservation Sales Agents who will create customized Walt Disney World Resort vacations for Guests.

Qualified candidates should possess computer skills and experience in a customer-focused sales environment. Benefits of the role include a competitive compensation package.

Interested Cast Members and referrals must apply online at www.disneycareers.com by May 17 to be considered for an interview. Cast Members should e-mail their referrals' resumes to wdw.casting.scout.office@disney.com to receive Disney Casting Scout credit.

I thought since everyone on here loves giving advice, well why not??

Invite family and friends to summer job festival
Date: 05/05/2004

Casting will host a job festival May 20-22 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to fill hundreds of full-time, part-time and seasonal roles.

Roles are available in Attractions, Merchandise, Lifeguarding, Entertainment, Custodial, Quick Service Food and Beverage, Culinary and more. Selected candidates may receive a job offer on the spot.

Representatives from various Walt Disney World locations will be present to provide an overview of their areas. Candidates will get refreshments and entertainment.

Cast Members should give their referrals Disney Casting Scout cards and ask them to call the Jobline at (407) 828-1000 to schedule an interview.

I have some referral cards, but I'll be at wdw from 11-18th. If anyones in the area I can drop some off. Just let me know, since its such a wonderful place to work and I know many of yall would love the opp!

You have no idea how much I would love to pack up and roll on down to Florida to work for the mouse. I just can't do that to my family and my DD. Oh, my DBF might not like it much either. lol It would be so cool to plan trips for other people....really cool.

Lifeguard roles available
Date: 05/07/2004

Cast Members may invite family and friends to apply for full-time, part-time and seasonal Lifeguard roles.

Lifeguards at our water park or resort locations help provide a safe, secure and clean environment for Guests.

Qualified candidates must have keen observation and lifesaving skills. Candidates also must complete a swim test demonstrating basic water skills, and selected candidates will receive lifeguard training to prepare them for water rescue roles.

Interested Cast Members and referrals should call the Walt Disney World Jobline at 8-222-1000 (407-828-1000) to schedule an interview. Cast Members should give each referral a Disney Casting Scout Card with the Cast Member's name and personnel number on the card.

i found this avatar the other day. ENG is definately one of my favorites. My favorite part being at the end when they (kids, krunk and cat eezma) are cub scouts learning to speak squirrel.

I would love to work for the mouse and plan on it someday when the kids are grown. Right now would not be good for the family (wife's job and kids are 15, 13, & 11). To work @ WDW would be a dream come true. That day will come, I hope.

I would love to work for WDW. Maybe someday. I just cant leave the job that I have because I make good money, have great benefits and a great pension plan.
If I could find a full-time job within disney that has the same or similar to what I have here I would move there in a heartbeat.

It is a long time coming but give me 20 more years with the State of Missouri and I'm retiring from here and moving south to work for the Mouse! Give me a Minnie suite if I don't get to dumpy of a figure then give me the fairy god mother custome and here I come.

I actually went as far this year as interviewing and being offered a job on the spot. But... like all good employees of my current boring stinky job, I am stuck there until the day I die or retire... whichever comes LAST! I keep kicking myself.

I would also love to check out job opportunities at Disney after I retire from my current job...I still have 5 years & 2 months more to serve in **** (AKA: the Post Office). Being a reservation agent sounds perfect!

I went over and applied to work for disney full time and was not very impressed what so ever, the casting agent I had was a grumpy old man, I ended up walking out on him after they had hired me, although I hadn't started. there was alot of bad qualities I found from the casting exp, that I won't post here. I don't want to deter anyone from going to work for disney as I hear some great things but were never proven on my visit.

After I saw a thread last week about a link to Disney job postings, I checked them out! And in New York City, just a short drive for me, there are two jobs available that fit me to a tee! Everybody should find this link and see if there is something good for you near your home!!!

Thanks Miss Dis, seems I forgot to mention that disney has jobs all over the states. Its not just for WDW itself but for the whole dis company. All you have to do is look.
Wanna work for ESPN in the sports field, its in there. ABC being a producer or such for your local station, give it a shot. Disney covers so much, I shouldve titled the thread wanna work for disney!
Either way, wherever you are, if you work for disney or its affiliates you're entitled to some great benefits. These may or may not include free theme park admission and discounts on park tickets, merchandise, accomodations and restaurants, so just make sure if thats what youre after!

Hi all I just had time to post again- put to let you all know I work for Disney way down south in Florida, not at the parks but in Miami and let me tell you...
It's one of the best jobs I've every had. It may only be part-time, but in 5/7 years when I am (paroled) from my current full-time job, I am moving north and transferring to anything I can find at Disney. They may not pay well, but the benefits are great and the morale that I've experinced is wonderful. It sure beats my full-time job with...
let's just keep at a government job. Hehehe!~
If you truely love Disney you have to experince working for them- only problem don't wait to long. They have a mandatory retirement age of 72. Which stinks- cause I know I will be living way past that (being young at heart) and surely can work past that age (at Disney only though).
