Haunted Mansion Rehab

I've heard that HM will recieve a majot rehab sometime in the future. That could be this summer or it could be next fall (2006). From one source, PotC would undergo a major rehab, then HM would be next. The rehab would be re-painting and re-dusting the ride, but might also include some new effects and a new queue. This in no way is confirmed, but it has been tossed around. Your thoughts

I have wondered if they might rehab both of those rides, what with the movies based on them now being much more high-tech than the rides themselves (especially PoC).

Yes, this rehab is expected to come soon. They want to have the HM change over to a Holiday theme, around Christmas time. If they want that they will have to begin the rehab soon.

I would love to see HM get some new technological advancements. I love the ride but sometimes the ghost effects just feel so outdated.

On one of the auction websites, you can buy actually stuff -- costumes, mostly -- from the HM! Skirts in all sizes, I remember, for $12! Also a lot of props from the parks, resorts and movies! I will try to find that link and post it!

I don't mind,in fact I welcome,a rehab of queue area,but I hope they don't change it too much(the ride,I mean).

I REALLY hope they don't change the pre-show. It is very cool. What is wrong with the queue area???

Oh I hope they do it! That would be AWESOME!! Would they do the same "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme like at DL? I really hope so - I saw a movie of it on a website and now I'm DYING to see it in person!

Yes, they would re-do it in the NBC theme. I think it would be cool.

I'm too big to fit through the turnstiles. This is the only ride in the MK I can't get into the usual way.

I don't think that they would totally change the whole queue area, but possibly add some new features. I wouldn't worry too much
