Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3 movie

I was reading through the 2004 Disney annual report, and read that POC 2 and 3 will be filmed and released back to back. Johnny Depp will be in both. No release date was mentioned.

I think that they start filming in a couple months. PotC 2 might have it's premiere at the Magic Kingdom at WDW. That would be exciting.

3!!??!! I didn't know there was a 3!!! Well I guess Disney is trying to make this into a "Back to the jones wars" trilogy...hehehe...as long as it works out and is good! Does anyone know if Geoffery Rush will return??? He was great as Barbosa!!??!?

I read somewhere that he (along with the rest of the original cast) will be in 2. Haven't heard anything about a 3. Also read that Keith Richards is supposed to be in 2 as Jack's dad!!! I'll be curious to see if that's true or not.

On the the Backlots Tour, a couple of weeks ago, the castmember told us that Richards had signed on and would be in 2.

Hey! I am starring in both movies with Johnny!!! We just finished shooting, and he spends almost the entire length of both movies being madly in love with me, and I we share lots of on-screen kisses!!! I think he may have fallen in love with me off-screen, as well, since he still sends flowers and love letters every day!

(OK, just a joke, folks... a girl can dream, can't she?)

The second movie is subtitled Dead Man's Chest

"The second installment will follow Captain Jack Sparrow as he tries to resolve a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. If Jack can not figure a crafty way out of this one, he will be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and ****ation. And as if that were not enough, Captain Jack's problems throw a huge wrench into the wedding plans of the blissful Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who quickly find themselves thrust into Jack's misadventures."

It comes out in summer 2006 and the sequel follows about one year later.

Can you believe that? He wanted the same as Johnny Depp? I think I'd tell him to get lost!
