Boy! I don't usually post Big Time Rumors, but sometimes you come across one that is so bizarre that it becomes interesting in it's own right. This one is a really out there. Most of this is coming from WDWMagic, which is a fairly creditable site which makes this more interesting than usual.

Facts:

• Expedition Everest is due to open early next year
• Tarzan Rocks is closing this year
• Animal Kingdom is still in need of new additions

Rumor:

A Finding Nemo Show will replace Tarzan Rocks!

OhhhhKaaay... we are talking Dinoland... we are getting Nemo throughout the Living Seas... there are no Fish to be found at Animal Kingdom... how would this be pulled off?

The only two ideas I have gathered (if the rumor where true) is that either Australia is coming and the show will not be in the same building. Or, the building will be enclosed (which may happen regardless of the replacement) and a version of Nemo on Ice may come... but why Dinoland? Is another expansion expected on that side of AK???

Anyway, just wanted to get this wild rumor out there and let you ponder it a bit.

I personally don't believe it, but sometimes these ideas are so out there that they come true.

I read that too about Tarzan Rocks closing this year, and honestly I was hoping Expedition Everest DOES open early. Usually things open earlier than they say or later than they say (test track) but very rarely right on schedule. Haven't heard anything about Nemo.

A Nemo attraction would be fun, I enjoyed Tarzan, but I think it has run its course.

It's possible it may start testing late this year, but it won't officially open til early next year.

Well, sure... but we have the Living Seas already. Animal Kingdom seems to imply land based creatures in the name of the park and it's logo and theming.

I do understand that there could be a place for underwater creatures, but it just doesn't seem to fit anywhere right now.

I was at Blizzard Beach this weekend and you can see it from the top of Mt Gushmore. It is HUGE - it stands out higher than anything around it. You can hardly even see the Tree of Life. And from BB you get the back view of it, which is pretty nasty. It's mountain-shaped, but it's all bars and metal. I'm sure they'll cover that part up but what gets me is its size - I wish I had a picture. It's unbelievable.

Today's AllEars has it officially... They are saying the official date for the closure will be set soon and that the Theatre in the Wild will be closed in, and that then it will reopen with a new show.
